Lots of People Are Mad at This

Not sure why people are bent out of shape about it. Also not sure why he thinks it’s a good look to talk trash about the talent level at the school he couldn’t crack the three deep at.
Oh, but nobody in the conference could block him (according to him).

I mean.... whatever? My biggest takeaway from this is a reminder that I'm glad we have Butler and FSU has White. I liked the way our defense played in the BC game and I'm excited to see what's on tap. I can see why 9 people on twitter are mad about it; it was obviously an intentionally disrespectful thing to say. Not sure what he's mad about, but thinking it was a shitty thing to say is a pretty reasonable reaction.

I'm only bothered by one thing, and it has nothing to do with TW or JW. Its that the landscape of CFB has changed such that every place you've been is just a stopover. In 2025, NU football isn't a place where a kid comes to be part of any sort of athletic or fan-driven tradition. Its a stopover till we get to the next school, or if NU is lucky, its a stopover prior to the NFL. No emotional attachments for anyone, to any program. In that way, CFB is dead, and that makes it much less appealing to follow with any sort of passion.
The next situation is the best situation. If aomeone isn't working backchannels to get you a better offer in 2025, it can only mean you're not good enough to play anywhere else. And if that's the case, NU is likely somewhere between average and suck. And I don't put it on the kids. The market drives the mindset.

It is one of those things where there are only 3 options.

1. The talent at NU and FSU is exactly the same

2. NU has better talent

3. FSU has better talent.

The dorks on twitter getting all mad about this need to get over it.

That video was from Jan 31st and no one else posted it here or mentioned it. I think it is fair to say the only one who cares about this is you. And we all know it isn’t due to genuine concern but to press your agenda.
Nailed it

He wants to talk up the new place and the DC. So??? The grass is always greener on the new side until it isn’t.

Guys do this more and more. Why? Is it a character issue? Is it a need for attention and getting in good with fellas on the new team? Who knows and he is there and not coming back so good for him. If he does well, yeah, and if he smoked and exposed, yeah.

I’m worried about the guys here and their success. Over the years of coaching have seen guys go other places , wished them well and didn’t worry about them again. I’d recommend the same here.

What is my agenda, exactly?

Be specific. Thanks.

Same as it always is. This is not a big deal but you post it and say “lots of people” are mad. A video from 4 days ago. Something that no one on here either saw, or if they saw it, weren’t upset enough to post about it.

Chief pot stirrer. Rather than denying it, just own it. It’s ok to have a little spice on the board. Especially in the offseason where there doesn’t seem to be a lot of movement on the board.

Edit: you can say this isn’t your agenda but “lots of people” think it is.

who's mad?
If two or three jackasses are upset about something on social media, then it becomes "people" or the entire group. It's an over generalization. It happens every day, especially in politics. One dip shit with a lot of followers posts something ridiculous, and it becomes "Republicans" (or Liberals) are blaming ___________. And then everyone marvels about how stupid ALL of those people are for believing such a thing.

I don't think you are understanding why the few people that posted are "all mad". It has nothing to do with actual talent level. It is more to do with him talking shit about his former team. A team where he was a situational player. It is like when the back up point guard leaves a .500 team via free agency and goes to a .200 team and talks about how great the talent is on the new team.

You’d think it’d be fairly simple to nail down specifics after all these years of “agenda pushing”.

But, no. It’s “Chief pot stirrer”.

Seems I have reached mythical status to many here by simply posting my opinion.

The replies to this video by NU fans is interesting to me. That’s all.

Had you seen it prior to it being posted here?
