How bad are the limited or obstructive view tix?
Do you know if there are any specific sections to steer clear of?

In Memorial Stadium? Some of those seats aren't an obstructed view of the field but an obstructed view of the big screen. East stadium has pillars that obstruct the view in certain parts of the field.

It's been years since I sat underneath on the west side but I thought it sucked big time. Couldn't see the far corner of the furthest end zone, couldn't see the screen, and if there's a flyover you'll only hear it.

I wouldn't consider sitting there again unless the tickets were free.

I've only been obstructed once. I wound up directly behind a pillar in East stadium in 2008 at my 1st spring game. Kind of embarrassing story - I ended up there after being kicked repeatedly from seat to seat.

I didn't realize that spring tickets were not assigned seats. People wanting "their seats" had me kicked over and over again. I had every right to sit up front, but toolshed fans threw fits and got bouncers to move me or id be kicked out.

I ended up straddling the damn pillar and the view sucked. Felt like a jackass later.
