Let's all watch the Wisky-Minny game

Not much to pick from in the early slate. Boise vs Oregon state might be the most consequential if Oregon state can hang

Honestly, IMO I hope Boise St loses. They’ll probably will pull it out at home against OSU, but they will get destroyed in the playoffs. I’ve watched them several times, and Jeanty is a stud, but that team overall will not hold up against any of the B1G or SEC playoff contenders. It will be a massacre.

7-0 Minny

Couldn’t be happier. As much as I hate Row the Boat, I want the Badgers winning and bowl streak to end at 22 seasons.

Having the Huskers heading to a bowl and the Badgers staying home would bring the Badgers fans down to a more palatable level as someone that lives in WI
Badgers are terrible. Was the Husker win last week more about how bad the Badgers are???? A little concerning…

Early in the year they played Oregon at Eugene and were an 18 pt underdog. They lost late by only 3 points.
Other than that, they've played a real soft schedule. They can compete with the 6-12 teams in the playoffs because other than OSU and maybe Georgia, Boise will score about 21 points on those teams in the playoffs.

Biggest issue is depth and Chinander as their DC. A real good matchup for them is Penn State.

They lost 37-34 at Oregon this year. That was early season but it’s enough to say they wouldn’t necessarily get destroyed

I've been saying for the past two weeks that Wisconsin is terrible, especially on offense. They played Oregon to a close game and everyone on here talked as if Wisconsin is a top 5 team.

I thought it was very concerning that the defense gave up 25 points to them.

Halfway through the 2nd qtr. Wisconsin's offense has 37 yards, 3 first downs, punted all 4 drives and has yet to reach the 50 yard line.

Yes, the offense has to stay on field - black shirts have some real concerns.

I'm with you on this. I want Wiscy to lose and lose big.

5 possessions for Wisconsin so far, 5 punts.

This terrible OC is the guy Fickell picked to replace the other terrible OC he hired.

At any rate, this is what it looks like to install a system completely opposite of your identity. We know a thing or two about that.

Fickell gets run again today, he's in trouble.

I think Minnesota is a good 6-5 team. I wouldn't be thrilled if I had a better W/L record and drew them as an opponent in a bowl game. Nothing to win and everything to lose game.

Oregon was still figuring themselves out on defense and Gabriel was still figuring things out on offense. Boise St is giving up about 25 pts a game against some very weak opponents. They will give up 35+ to any of the playoff teams (pick one, won’t matter which one) and there’s no way they’ll score enough against playoff caliber defenses. They’ll lose by 17-21 points and I don’t even need to know who they’re playing.

I don’t recall seeing any posts even remotely like that.

Can you really be figuring yourself out after 11 games into the season? At this point, you are who you are.

Hate to say it and Headcard will not like it but Minnesota is better than both the Huskers and Clarkeyes right now.

You are right, friend. I don’t like it, or agree.

They lost at home to Rutgers two weeks ago. It is cool they are up on Wisconsin by 14 at half but so we’re we and Iowa was up 11.

Wrong again. You said Wisconsin was a team that kept improving heading down the stretch and would give Nebraska fits. I pointed out they lost their last 3 soon to be 4 if Nebraska beat them.

Just quit the act and come clean. Which team is the team you support?

I think you have me confused with someone else.

It's really funny, seeing everyone try to justify Nebraska's win over Wisconsin as a great win against a tough team. I mean, is it great Nebraska finally gets to go to a bowl game? Sure, I guess that's something to be proud of, but beating Wisconsin this year is not a difficult task.

Then others on here saying how great teams like Rutgers are since Wisconsin beat them, lol.

Have any of you (those that are saying these things) looked at the BIG standings lately? Rutgers, Wisconsin, and Minnesota are not anywhere close to the top of that list. Nebraska is right there with them.

It is one thing to have confidence, hope, and belief in your team to win, but to justify saying Nebraska's win against a clearly bad team (WI) was a big accomplishment and major sign of improvement, because Wisconsin beat other clearly bad teams(Rutgers), and have one moral victory over a top team(Oregon) is just silly.

Fleck is a weirdo but his teams are usually pretty sound. Which is the opposite of us.

Then feel free to share them. Feels like a made up narrative to me.

For Nebraska, beating Wisconsin has been a difficult task. There were a few games where we definitely should have won and choked in the final minutes of the Fourth quarter. So yeah, it was like an At Last moment to become Bowl Eligible beating Wisconsin!
