Go back and watch Trump interviews from 2008, 2009, 2010...before he decided to run. He was as moderate as it gets, with a huge skew towards growth and construction. He bad mouthed pretty much every conservative/republican ideal, while accepting most of the things that Obama did early in his presidency. He invested in green energy, "clean" coal (to fight climate change), was pro-choice, single payer insurance, anti-iraq, and big on investment in inner cities, following the plan that New York has taken to combat crime and white flight. I think the uneducated whites just elected a moderate, who will be tied in the short term to media conservatives but will eventually diversify his admin, much like Bush II. I remember when he said he could shoot someone in times square and his base would still vote for him, that also means he could push liberal legislation and his base would still vote for him. His investments, friends, family, and interviews from pre-presidental runs all point to a conventional new york moderate, similar to Hillary, which is why they are friends. I really feel bad for the whites that were baited to vote, they are really hurting in the midwest...a heroin epidemic-combined with high suicide rates, and really no prospects for people who are not good students, which will just multiple because of the heroin and suicide. Hopefully new policies will help all groups of people who are in pain right now.
