The big thing is that I hope that the players take responsibility for the loss and the coaches do the same. That's the only way to get better. The way this program has performed for years now, it shows that we have a losing culture. Losing cultures are characterized by players passing the blame and getting over loses before they even leave the locker room. I literally heard a kid once say, "I don't care if coach is mad. I played well." Judging by results year after year, we've had plenty of that at NU. I hope that when they pare down to 105, they keep some lesser talented good kids and let go of the slackers who had better ratings in HS.
They are for the most part leftovers including the 5 star QB that Georgia let go without wimper
Nonsense. Who would we replace Matt Rhule with? I can't think of anyone who could do better, except for maybe King Kong.

Last year at this time, Raiola was asking a girl to his HS dance and Nebraska's offense was struggling worse than ever. Then this kid comes in, starts as a true freshman and you've already seen enough?

Yes. The coaches had Neyor in the game and ran a play for him at the most crucial point of the game....even though he sucks. So yes I blame the coaches for that.

Rhule leaves, Raiola leaves, and Barney becomes a Cane. Versus retain Holgerson and let him cook for an off season and let White get the younger kids on defense ready to play. The present coaching staff has been more than respectful of the players that were in the program when they showed up. They now get a chance to succeed or fail with the players that they recruited. There were a dozen first and second year players that played meaningful snaps against Iowa on Friday.
In the era of the transfer portal blowing up coaching staffs equals blowing up rosters. Do the younger better players wanna dick around for a couple of years to see if the new staff is any better than the prior one? Nebraska has canned coaches who were consistent nine and 10 game winners and now some people think it’s a good idea to canned the coaching staff that got us to our first bowl game in eight years.

And there is Kong, who apparently Rhule cut in front of at a Casey’s last year getting coffee, and he hasn’t gotten over it yet.
As you would. Because we ate truly loaded with guys behind him who made so many plays.
You guys always think the guy behind him is better. Maybe Neyor makes the play 7 out of 10 times. Guy behind him makes it 5-10. So yeah go with the guy less likely to make the play. Makes sense....
Only fans would rather have a guy less likely to make a play on the field than one who is more likely.
