In 1936, temperatures in Nebraska, and Kansas hit 115°. Parts of Texas were over 120°. Just a brutal, brutal summer. We were in a massive drought.

The climate is free to do whatever the heck it wants. What's laughable is that we think we have any control over it. So unless you can regulate solar flares and sunspots and control the methane burping out of volcanoes and gurgling out of the ocean floor. I'd recommend the scientists give it a rest. Just follow the money.

If my dad was still alive he would also tell you 1936 was one of the coldest years on record

If only the entire global scientific community would pay more attention to the thermometers in the American midwest in February, they would surely change their minds.
Nah, bunch of sheep manufacturing their own data to fit in their flawed models. Academia is fueled by government grants. Go against the grain and the money spigot dries up. Careers die. Toe the line sheeple.

Sometimes when I have some free time I like to look at all the predictions made over the last 50 years and laugh at how wrong they get it.

Yup,
Even UCF's tenured professor was removed recently because he didn't buy in the current PC culture

I washed the truck to get all the salt off and the electric folding mirrors were froze when I got home.

Global warming "scientists" are fraudulent academic whores.
Can’t believe I’ve lived here my entire life. I’ll be 53 at end of month. I hate cold but have lived in Eastern Neb for over half a century. Ugh.

I like the change of seasons. I am not a fan of long icy winters (especially if I have to drive in it or work outside) nor long hot baking high humidity summers but I don't mind short winters with some snow&cold and mild summers are fine. I'm always kind of looking forward to the change of season. It's kind of fun. I feel the bad weather days make the good weather days pop otherwise you end up taking it all for granted. I like fall the best, then spring. Winter and summer are tied for last.

It's funny, not too many years ago they were complaining about ANOTHER record setting "hottest year ever" because it was a couple of tenth's? above the overall average for the year.

Does an average temp actually mean anything? I am not sure it does. And it was NOT the hottest year ever, it was the MILDEST year that I can remember. Never got to hot during the summer (no 100's and a couple of high 90's) or cold that winter (no sub-zeros). The overall temp averaged slightly above other years, enough for them to continue pushing their meme.

I am sure you all saw Kerry fly in his private jet to collect his climate award. The hypocrisy nowadays is record setting, not the temperature. It's not just with the climate either, hypocrisy abounds.

late 90's moved to northern montana. first night there it dipped to -72 f. -96 wind chill. that kind of temp will make you question yourself. turned out to be the coldest winter on record for montana. living in balmy cheyenne and looking for a high of -7 today. thinking of putting on my bathing suit and catching some rays.

Best sarcastic comment yet. "It's cold in my house. Climate change is a hoax!" People love using anecdotal accounts to deny a global fact.
