Doubt that is why the other thread was locked.

I guess fans have to decide which is more important higher highs with lower lows or more consistent success without the peaks and valleys. To be honest, I am not sure where I fall there. With Iowa's historical lack of consistent winning seasons I would be pretty darn happy with 9 or 10 win seasons most of the time but having seasons like this one is pretty euphoric.
Now you finally get it you want to know how many seasons we have had since Devaney like yours this year.
Iowa only seen seasons like this maybe 9 times in school history if that.
Think about this since 1962 we have won 9+ games every year but 7 seasons including this season.
I never disagreed that the Huskers have a fantastic legacy or that Iowa never has had anywhere close to it, just that you aren't currently still a blue blood program. At what point with recent results would you yourself say Nebraska is no longer a blue blood program? Now you finally get it you want to know how many seasons we have had since Devaney like yours this year.

Gotcha. Now I see where we are disagreeing. We are not currently relavent is the word your looking for.
Blue blood is about History and if you look it up only 4 schools have won more games than Nebraska.
We are still a blue blood program you don't know the comparisons between one and the other.

you have proclaimed that Nebraska has a 95% of winning ... I'm just trying to contribute to the charity organization that is red rover

Why can't you just make sig beat and give this a rest.
I never said Iowa ever has been. Where we disagreed was our definition of blue blood. By scarlets definition of the term I would agree with him. There is nothing to disagree about. Nebraska IS a Blueblood and Iowa ISN'T.
No. Hopefully we'll get back on our feet and our rival will be the best team from the other division.

Exactly. Eastern Division Champion will be our rivial.
That could be between 4 schools you don't have a rivalry you hardly play it's someone you play every year.
I propose we win the West a time or two before we start announcing to the rest of the conference who is fortunate enough to be our rivals
we currently sit fourth
