Is Howard ok w/ Miller staying?

you saw in the pop tarts why will howard is in the portal. my guess is he ends up at ohio state. much better cultural fit. just as big a paycheck. maybe more assets around him. same conference. closer to family which would be an important factor for him.
IF my completion percentage was 15-20 points higher than a freshman I’m splitting time with I would probably get pissed and leave too

Do you really think completion percentage has anything to do with splitting time with a freshman come on dude.

If you can't see what a high ceiling Johnson has at the quarterback position then maybe quit commenting on quarterbacks..........

I’ve commented favorably about Johnson in previous threads. I just can see why Howard left.

Go read their bowl game thread and report back. If you don’t think a 15-20% completion percentage for a QB is relevant you’re clueless. I know you’re not that. You just missed the earlier conversations.

my guess is that avery johnson consumed all the available qb nil money. klieman likely told howard that he would be competing for his job. and further that if he left his finances would surely improve.

he had accomplished everything he could at k-state. all his buddies, including cooper beebe and roomie ben sinnott, were leaving as well. so, it was a pretty easy decision to find another venue for his super-senior year.

it's proved to be the right choice so far, hooking up with the ohio state university as he has. i can't think of a more prestigious program. plus, he is closer to his pennsylvania home.

Do you have back-up QBs?

Howard appears to have won the portal lottery IMO. We’ll see how it plays out. Johnson looks like he could be really good for KSU but he’s got to stay healthy and improve in the passing game.

same guy who thinks kirk cousins > lamar jackson

can't wait to put a fortune on Williams to win offensive rookie of the year next year simply to fade your always-wrong opinions

thanks for the free cash, friend!
i'll take that bet.

k-state lost three qbs off the roster, including 4* jake rubley who ended up at northern illinois. they did get a minnesota redshirt frosh transfer, jacob knuth, who comes with some solid high school credentials including south dakota poy and #27 on espn qb recruit list. they also have a promising incoming freshman from colorado.

1st year quarterback vs 4th year quarterback-
Freshman vs. Senior

Obviously I'm not saying completion percentage doesn't matter at the quarterback position, I'm saying in this situation it doesn't matter because Avery Johnson has a higher ceiling because of his running ability....

Almost every quarterback improves there completion percentage year by year. Avery Johnson is in year 1 and will Howard is in year 4 so I would expect will Howard to have a better completion's percentage....

OSU is a better fit for Howard anyway, win win for both teams in my opinion....
