However had Frank been coaching in the current playoff system. He probably would have been in not only the 2001 NC but also the 99, a team that went 12-1 and whooped Tennessee in the fiesta bowl. That would have been 2 NC's which equate to Days total in an era where 1 loss doesn't kill you.

The 1999 team was probably better than the 2001 team. Can’t believe the butter finger day we had against Texas! Our only blemish that yea! Can’t believe our horrible record against Texas! smh
