Resurrected? Baylor was 10-3, 11-2, and 11-2 prior to Rhule. They had 4 straight bowl seasons. He had 1 good season. His previous 2 seasons with Baylor were 1-11 and 7-6. He is a fine coach but you are putting all your hope into a single season. A season that only matches what Baylor was already achieving.

They were actually 7-6 the year prior to Rhule. And yes, that program was left for dead after the Briles scandal. Like 40 total scholarship players and one commit, pre transfer portal.

Rhule has not meet our expectations, but no reason to try and rewrite history to belittle what he accomplished at Baylor and Temple, building up/back those programs.

I've seen all the NC's . All I'm asking is to have some pride and go to a bowl game. This program is the laughingstock of college football. We have tried everything else but cutting off support. I don't have anymore to give. Almost isn't selling it for me. I don't think I'm asking too much or being dramatic about it, just facts. I see teams every weekend winning with less.

Yeah it is sad how far this program has fallen.

K-State under Bill Snyder was the model program for doing more with less. Their players were so fundamentally sound. Our players can’t do that. They like to just freelance on their own and get of position. That is the New Nebraska

I am a fan probably longer than you, no I’m not happy and nobody should be I don’t have season tickets but I also don’t believe in boycotting the team, every loss I say to myself I’m done but I’m ready to watch or listen to the game come the weekend. I’m an eternal optimism, like penns said there is still hope. People that are complaining Rhule is a bad coach claiming he doesn’t do things right, yes I agree but I will say Rhule is similar to bear bryant and nick saban, they let there assistants do the coaching they are pretty much a ceo figure head on game day. We were spoiled with bob and tom they were hands on. I don’t know what right but I really know if Rhule doesn’t get the job done the next Coach will but I’m still 55% sure Rhule Can do it. I said the first year bef Winter conditioning he should have told a lot of upperclassmen to leave I believe they are the cancer the don’t give a crap and give up easily

I know when I think of CEO type head football coaches I automatically think of Bear Bryant, Nick Saban and Matt Rhule.

I am on record as anti Rhule. But since he is not going to be fired we have to keep hoping he finds a way to succeed. We can still end the season 7-5 and go to a bowl. We need to fill that stadium next week and scream our heads off

I can't believe more people don't think like this. I get the frustration and anger but man that kinda talk is crazy. I guess that's why people are wired differently. I'm not anti Rhule YET but do feel like he made a few bad hires. Looks like he's made a choice to correct maybe the biggest mistake. I'll see if/when others are made off season and judge accordingly. All that said we still have a couple games to try and win one more at least. I'm not convinced it happens but I'd be damned if I didn't do all I could as a fan to make it happen. Whether you think the kids are losers or not. It's about more than just them.

I'm convinced some get so wrapped up in themselves that they can't see the Forest from the trees. I'll be rooting my ass off from work but no less .
