Interesting game, both teams have their backs against the wall getting bowl eligible.
Can Rhule and this team get it done..

Ohio St is 11.5 favorite over Indiana
USC -4 over UCLA
Colorado -3 over Kansas

I'm surprised that we're favored. Kansas had another big win last night. They're gonna beat Colorado. I cannot believe Indiana is an 11 1/2 point underdog. Apparently, some people must think there's a real chance that Ohio State just blows them out. At 11 1/2 points, the books want Indiana money rolling in. Vegas wants to be rooting for the Buckeyes.

Easy money. No chance we beat Wisc. I think Indiana will beat Ohio St and KU will be CU.

Indiana and Colorado are both very interesting teams. Is their success due to their weak schedules or are they actually legit?

Fortunately we'll get to find out for Indiana soon. Unfortunately we probably won't find out about Colorado until the playoffs.

We will not score more than 13 points IMO. Can we win 13-10? I think we will be up 13-7 with 5 minutes left and they will go on a 85 yard drive and win 14-13 with DR getting sacked at the Wisconsin 20 as times runs out. How is that?

Sadly this is the most realistic ending. I predict DR tries to thread the needle and throws an INT and that is how the game will end.

Yeah if I gambled I'd consider putting some money down. Severely underestimating Indiana. OSU might be better overall in terms of talent, but Indiana rolls teams. I have no trouble saying they are the best team we faced this year, and that obviously includes OSU. UCLA/USC - I gotta go with UCLA. That DL is much better. Kansas is also starting to roll and CU hasn't played anyone good lately.

Indy has, at least so far, a big time coaching staff and a lot more good players than I thought they had. cu has a fair amount of talent as well, with a half dozen players that will be drafted next year, and they are coached better this year than last, Deion doesn't lack confidence and he's going to keep getting players via the portal.

Weak schedules aside, both teams are pretty good at this stage of the season.

Nebraska is really dragging down their weak SoS.

Nebraska will beat Wisconsin and Iowa. But If they lose them both Ruhle likely doesn't make it a past New Years as our coach. There are almost enough check writers ready to cut bait. Lose the last 2 and I can't imagine he has enough support to be retained. The fact that losing is more expensive than buyout is real.

Where are you getting the notion he will be fired? Because outside of posters on this board clamoring for his firing, I haven’t seen anything to indicate he’s on his way out.

Ohio St is gonna thump Indiana. Michigan just about beat them and, tOSU is far better than them. tOSU will win by more than the point sprerad. tOSU wants another crack at Oregon because of their only blemish. Plus there was that controversial call at the end of the game on that penalty that cost them yards during their last drive.

I think they win both and we’ll hear all about wait until next year and off season NC!! Even if we lose both Matt isn’t going anywhere. No better option is going to come here. If they get a young stud it’ll be like our good recruiters. They come here to build their resume and then they’re gone. The 20 year T.O. Run is never happening here.

A family member is a large donor and former judge. She doesn't make things up or pass rumors. His support is dwindling. There is enough $$ wanting him out to pay the buyout. I didn't say he was on his way out. I said if they lose the next 2 I can't imagine more support wouldn't be lost.
The sentiments of this board echo the sentiments of decision makers. ie support for MR is dwindling but there is still enough to keep him.

Even with the dwindling support, it would be incredibly stupid to get rid of him at this point unless they have an absolute home run of a hire 100% on board. Which would likely be hard to do as cutting bait after 2 years would make alot of coaches hesitant to take the job. My guess is he gets a 3rd year, and if the outcome is the same, then there's a solid chance he gets let go.

I'm not in camp "Fire Rhule" nor am I an apologist at this point, just the reality of the situation.

I expect them to pound it right at us
Let em, as their O is nothing compared to USCs and nowhere near as fast and Wiscy doesn't run cut back counters as their backs aren't fast enough. It's not their O I'm worried about, I'm worried about their Defense as I watched that game against Oregon last night and Wisconsin held Oregon to their lowest offensive production of the year and that was against one of the most explosive offenses in all of P4 plus held them to their lowest point total of the year as the final score was 16-13 Oregon.

For comparison
Oregon Total Offense vs Wisconsin 354 yards. Wisconsin was held to 226 yards of TO
Oregon Total Offense vs tOSU 496 yards. tOSU had 467 yards of TO

Wisconsin's Offense is pure garbage and like I said, that is the least of my worries next week.

This game is gonna be a very low scoring game.
