I have been a Husker for a long time through the leanest of times (before Devaney, who arrived after I graduated)...It has been a journey that I have enjoyed, supporting the Huskers throughout although I haven't lived in Nebraska for many years. Everything is cyclical (Texas, Alabama, even Oklahoma, Southern Cal, Notre Dame, etc. -all of the vintage blue chip programs.) We may be on our way back.
It looks like everything is finally in place for that to happen.
What is a huge bother are the clunks who claim to be Husker fans. I completely agree with h3 (guess
he's still around with a new name); Luckie (maybe you're h3 resurrected, miss Sam-I-Am, maybe you're one of those (doubt it but who the hell knows)....My point is that I am observing that there are
far too many dips that post who are not "the greatest fans in college football"...It's time to call you out...
