TLANTA – Oklahoma State's Kaylee Jensen was one of 50 players named to the watch list for the Citizen Naismith Player of the Year Trophy on Wednesday as announced by the Atlanta Tipoff Club. A list of the midseason 30 team will be released on Feb. 12, 2018.

"We are excited to announce 50 talented candidates vying to win the 2018 Women's Citizen Naismith Trophy as we head into our 50th celebration season," said Eric Oberman, executive director of the Atlanta Tipoff Club. "This upcoming season should be one to remember, and the journey to become the women's top player of the year begins today."

Earlier this month, the senior was named to the watch list for the Lisa Leslie Award, which honors the top center in college basketball.

Additionally, Jensen was named a preseason all-conference selection after putting together an impressive junior campaign in 2016-17. The Genoa, Neb., native was named a first-team all-league selection a year ago after finishing as the conference's leading scorer (18.7 ppg) and rebounder (10.5 rpg). Additionally, she tallied a Big 12-best 17 double-doubles and was eighth in blocked shots at 1.6 per game.

This season, she has recorded three double-doubles and is averaging 14.2 points and 8.8 rebounds through six games.
