NW is 4-10 in conference play and 2-5 in their last 7 games..

Berke is mostly out again today against the Wildcats.
No question this is a must road win today.

None of the wins are a must win unless we lose this one and Penn State both then Michigan becomes a must win. Although this game offsets the loss to Maryland, it is not a "must win". I will be big for the resume, but Minnesota and Iowa are the only losses that would extremely be a knock on our resume

Respectfully Disagree, we have 4 must wins, today, Penn St, Minnesota and Clarkeyes and that also gets us to a 20 win season.

And I will say this for the 4th time on this board

No team with 6 or more quad 1 wins has been left out of the tournament. So 3 is most likely getting us in, but 20 will all but make it a guarantee, but 19 gives us and 80%+ shot

Husker hoops history seems to dictate make the resume bulletproof. Get to 20 wins and add in the quad 1 win total of 6.

I hear about 6 quad 1 wins is a lock. There is always the first time, so let that be another program.

This could be the best chance to get that 6th Quad 1 win. PSU is no longer a Q1, so it's either this one or Michigan at PBA or OSU on the road. UCLA and Ohio State are on the lower end of Q1, so they need to win enough to stay there. UCLA is likely to stay Q1, but OSU could slide out of the top 30, given their schedule.

The other think to watch is where NU sits in the conference standings. You want to finish in the top 9 for sure. That gets you at least one bye in the B1G tournament. There will be nothing gained by having to play that first day.

Plus we need wins. We need confidence and we need the best seed we can get 🙏

Since I'm here alone, I'll just keep going - Why TF does Sam always dribble under the basket, pick up his dribble, and have no clue what do do from there?

Yeah it serves no purpose and leads to a turnover 50% of the time

Truly wild how often we see Sam Hoiberg and the other guards, guarding and trying to out-rebound a 7’ center under the basket

Sam is a great situational jolt-off-the-bench piece. As a starter, he get's exposed. Teams are obviously game planning around him.

Can we please officially stop the SH love -fest?? Somebody needs to get in Fred’s ear and tell him his son has no business starting and getting 30+ mins/game. Other teams are not stupid, they are absolutely game-planning and exposing his multitude of physical limitations. He will pull somebody’s redshirt: they probably will transfer next year anyway.

More playing leap frog for the ball instead of boxing anyone out. Continues to be this team’s Achilles heal every single game

Question. Who are you going to play in his place?

One of these years I’ll see a husker team that can secure defensive boards
What they’re lacking at is the easiest fvcking fundamental thing to do. You don’t have to be athletic or tall to do it. Fred just shakes his head every game wondering why his team won’t do this. It just looks so idiotic

Morgan is a decent player but NU is trying way to hard to run the offense through him. NW has the size to shut him down.

If Fred was ever gonna lose his shit, that would've been the timeout to do it!! Playing like the font give a crap against a piss poor team!

Crazy that NW legitimately sucks, but is handling us simply because they rebound and they've got one guy that can shoot.
