Hoiskers -9.5 dogs against the Terps.

We don’t have anyone with the instincts and skills to cut to the basket, except Sam. Unfortunately his size limits his ability to finish a lot of the time.

Could someone let Fred know that his 3 pt D is abysmal?? They talked about it during the pregame show. You can’t automatically double team the post when you don’t need to. Contested 2s are better than wide open 3s.
I don't think they have any confidence in our bigs being able to guard their guy man to man. I think it's pretty obvious that they can't. Someone else questioned earlier this week why we didn't employ more zone. I realize it's tougher to rebound out of zone but damn. Switch it up.

Good half. Gotta guard Gillespie better.

Our backcourt is getting outplayed again and our perimeter defense still sucks balls but we’re in this. Our bench is playing really hard and keeping us in this. Need Williams and Gary to step it up in the 2nd. Oh, getting Essegian a few more looks would be good too…

Our defense relies on teams missing wide open threes - why they beat creighton
didn't Purdue have 3 guys come in to our game shooting over 40% from 3? Last week Rutgers was knocking down 3 with hands in their face at least. Most of their 3s were at least contested but they were on fire.

Berke and Gary have been bad so far. I haven't watched every minute of the last few games but every time I watched Berke was stinking things up.
Berke is not a P4 player. Too slow and not enough skill to make up for it. Gary has been one of our best players especially on D. Gary needs to stay in and turn it around this game but it’s probably not his best matchup.

Meah, Morgan, Gary, Williams, Ulis. Roll with the hot hands, best talent and size.

Saw us make an adjustment on the skip pass in the 1st half. Hoiberg and I think Ulis both stepped in like they were gonna double the post then instantly sprinted out to the shooter. That fvcking Miguel put one in our eye that was well defended. Nice to see, but we still need to defend the 3 better.

Playing on the road against teams that shoot the 3 well and don’t have a dominant post presence (exactly iowa) we need to play their post more straight up. Don’t have to bring help all the time, let our big guys defend straight up and see how they do. JMO, but what do I know?

Our post defenders are below average and most of our guards aren't quick enough to stay with some of the B1G guards. Bad combination.
