4-1 are the facts. I think the defense deserves some credit for holding tough while HH was struggling in the 1st.
Between the d, st, and him at least being able to scoop his own fumbles, it's true. Doesn't look pretty, but has it's moments (big long option runs, that beauty of a pass from the option, etc).

Our Denfense has won these games for us despite the horrible offense. We need to stop talking about the QB and start talking about the nose guard, linebackers, dbacks, etc. We are a bad, bad offensive team. The defense is our identity. Own it and hope HH and the O doesn't lose us close one
in order to win with a defensive identity you need an offense and specialists to compliment it

As bad as our Offense is, it’s still better than Iowa’s.
SF would have found a way to win. Players are starting to believe. Winning close ugly games is something this team has needed to learn to win. Almost wish it was a one score game for the psych.
We have a chance of moving the rock. Iowa knew there was no way they were going to gain 20 yards to kick a fg.
I'm just happy with the "W". The offense is not pretty to watch, it reminds me of listening to a grade school band thats in it's 1st week of practice, cringe worthy. Haarberg needs to get better, we can't keep fumbling snaps or missing throws early if we want to find two more wins. Having said that I'm sure he's doing the best he can given his experience and supporting "staff/players" at this time. GBR
