Just curious, as a Mod are you given free reign to decide what is fit for public eyes, or are you given a directive on what's acceptable?

With regards to why one film was "acceptable" and the other isn't in the eyes of the public, in my opinion, is based on how the main stream media had no opinion on one and has discussed the other as something bad.
If a person only watches say Fox or only watches MSNBC, they will only have one side of the story. In this case, the MSNBC viewer will have only been told that Cuties was a movie about an 11 year old joining a dance squad and Sound of Freedom was a religious movie with QAnon references. Fox viewer will only have been told that Cuties was child porn.

It's mostly laid out (like the pinned post), but there's always been a "use your best judgement" because you just simply can't define everything black and white...and it's probably completely fair to say that with a half dozen different humans can have a slightly different judgement about things. We often communicate and ask each other our opinions in order to kind of have a mutual agreement as to what is ok and what is not, but we're not always perfect.
Truthfully it comes down to civility. If people could discuss politics with civility (think society as a whole), then it would probably be allowed here (to be clear there are definitely some that do, but quite a few just frankly can't help themselves.). It's technically against board rules to name call and "internet fight" but personally, I don't usually care unless it gets way out of hand.
End of the day, this is a site dedicated to Husker athletics. It's not ever meant to be a place to fight someone over D's or R's or whatever. There are quite literally millions of websites you could do that on, many with larger followings than Inside Nebraska.
For some people, they view this platform as the place they need to "wake up people to the truth" and the owners of this site are here to stop their message or censor some "truth they are afraid of" LMAO.
Really the owners of this site just want a fun place where people can come and get away from life and discuss everything Huskers and provide them with the best information they can provide and occasionally some interesting off topic stuff. It's honestly not complicated.

Yep. Porn is absolutely terrible for the psych for our society, men and children especially (for watching so much of it). Women moreso as victims of being used.

Porn is just like every other vice out there. Some can handle it, some can't. Not everyone who drinks alcohol, bets on football or smokes some herb is going to be addicted and have their lives ruined. That isn't to say there are none, but your posts in this thread give off a vibe that you are somehow above the lure of porn, but everyone else, well, they just can't handle it like you do.
