So crazy to see this thread turn into a pissing match. This movie brings to light the unbelievably horrific lives that thousands of children live every day in the world. If you haven’t seen the movie, you need to. It will change the way you look at pedophilia and the need to take action to stop it! My wife and I have been involved with a group called International Justice Mission for years, they fight for these kids around the world. It’s a heartbreaking situation…Not political, not conspiracy, not exaggerated but it is the darkest evil on earth and must be stopped.
Without free speech, the crazies are not exposed. I'd rather know who they are and what they espouse than have it be kept in the dark.
I have been thinking about this a lot.
I loved Caviezel in Passion (and in Frequency, The Count of Monte Cristo, etc.etc...he's really a great actor regardless of his personal views), thought this is a story that needs to be told.
I can understand some hesitation given some of the crazies that tried to usurp this very important issue into their own conspiracy agenda (and the assumption that it could just turn into a propaganda piece for that agenda) but most of what I've read says it doesn't at all (which is what I was hoping).
I plan to see it sometime soon, thanks for chiming in.

I think the reason some people are hesitant about seeing this movie with an "open mind" is because conspiracy people keep inserting it directly into their conspiracy theories... as seen in some posts and tweets in this thread.
need to break up all the corporations.. get back to millions of small businesses.. in this way, there is much less of a monopoly on power and influence in this country, in my opinion.. those that currently have it, divide and conquer, and we need a lot less of that.

Right, the movie may be powerful and well done, but the fact that the star is a QAnon conspiracy theorist and I keep seeing people hype it up as "Hollywood doesn't want you to see this because they are all child groomers" just makes me decide to skip the movie rather than seek it out.

Yeah vaguely was that also referenced in the last season of True Detective? I had a student last year that had been trafficked through North Hollywood. She was a mess. Neck tattoo at age 12 and all. It definitely is something that is happening and its seemingly everywhere
I never said it was one critic. I said that he had found one critic. I would never watch that movie myself but I'm sure that there are plenty of bloggers out there supporting either film. I'm just not a fan of the "we vs. they" media sites that profit from political division, rumor, half truths and broad generalizations. I do like hearing honest discussion on both sides of an issue but it's becoming harder and harder to find these days. It's a pet peeve of mine.

Well Cuties was in my opinion extremely poor taste, not quite sure it was "Child Porn" (Although I never saw it, so I don't know for sure). I also don't think the "movie" Cuties and or any "film or show" should be interpreted as the same classification as Nazis
