Game day!! GBR!!

Thanks Riley and Frost
Sometimes I feel like it is a curse to wash away all of the entitled fans who complained about not beating Pacific by enough in the 90s, or not satisfied with 9 wins and a good bowl win. I remember fans melting down that we barely beat a good Washington state team by two scores in the 90s. When those are dead and gone we'll be good again.

If we could only get those defensive results now. Even the average years.
Pelini had some outstanding defenses as a coordinator and HC. Tony White fielded defenses at Cuse that punched above their weight. White hasn’t had access to the type of talent he now has. The Blackshirts may live up to their name this year.

Offense was without a lot of guys today: Teddy, Nouili, Betts (obviously), IGC, Washington.

Im not going to get too worked up about the defense winning the day.
Im not going to get too worked up until I see the offense having these issues in a real game. It’s a pretty normal camp thing, especially with a new coaching staff

A ton of the playbook gets thrown at the players in the first couple of weeks of camp. One reason is to stress them a bit, to see what they can handle. Two, see what the players do well and not so well. Things get scaled back the last part of camp.

Then camp ends and it’s Game Week and they focus on only the plays in the game plan.

There SHOULDN’T be the same problems come game time.

Im excited to see the 3-3-5.

And hope White does well. Hes a Husker now.
