It took a while, but the Huskers got that inning - and it all happened with two outs. They put up a three-spot in the top of the sixth. Hagge almost drove home Alvarado twice on foul balls down the left and right field lines. 3-0 headed B6.

I don't often take credit for Husker wins, but when I do it's because I linked a sexy boobs gif in the bottom of the 3rd and completely changed the teams mojo.

A win is a win is a win. You take them when you can get them. Baseball is funny game and momentum comes and goes. Huskers can still win the series with a win tomorrow.
Sorry, but good teams don't subscribe to the "funny game" and "momentum comes and goes" excuses when playing a back half of the season series against a bottom third opponent.

NU needs to sweep these opponents and establish some post season pecking order. If they're a team whose wins and losses are still of the "funny game" and waffling "momentum" variety five years into the Erstad era then he's WAY out over the tips of his skis in Lincoln.
