Will be in and out on scoring this one. I stayed late at work so everyone could take the day off to watch some basketball. :(

Either way, GBR!

Absolutely giving this game away with walks. Getting ugly now. 13 walks and counting.

Can't really blame the bats for this one, they had some hard line drive outs but overall played well enough to give most teams a chance. This pitching staff was not mentally prepared. I did expect an up and down year from this younger staff but Burkamper and Chesnut were very disappointing today being upperclassmen.

17 walks. 17 runs. 7 pitchers used. Well over 200 pitches thrown. About as ugly of a pitching stat line as I have ever seen.

Wow that's barf worthy. How is 17 walks even possible? I mean, they literally did not have 1 pitcher on the staff who pitched today that could throw strikes... Youth on the staff is not an excuse for this. Silva has to be officially on the hot seat, right???

"Well, you know, it was a team effort and I guess it took every player working together to lose this one."

17 walks is a Haymarket Park record. The all time record is 20 walks surrendered to, guess who? Right, Wichita St Apr 8, 1987.

Twice we were handed 19 walks by an opponent. NW Missouri St in '87 and Fort Hays State in '89.
