If you're trying to insult us, at least try to be somewhat accurate. You guys ran him off because you suck at football and fan support.
Wait til next season when your games vs anyone not being NU/OSU or Michigan only have 18,000 fans in the stands.
LMAO. Sure he was. Collins winning COTY last year reminds me of this tweet.Chris Collins was more deserving than Painter.
Umm, helloLMAO. Sure he was. Collins winning COTY last year reminds me of this tweet.
Apparently we are to believe that Northwestern is such a crap basketball program that merely going over .500 in conference and making the NCAA tournament (neither bar is very high) is some sort of miracle.
Also, last year Purdue was not ranked to start the season and picked middle-of-the-pack in most projections after losing a top 10 draft pick, an all-conference big men, and their starting point guard from the previous season.
In case this award being announced today didn't clue you in, it is decided at the end of the conference season.Umm, hello
They hadn’t won a single tourney game in their history until last year
Get a clue, fella
I am 100% accurate. If you're trying to insult us, at least try to be somewhat accurate.

You'll find plenty of my posts on our board. This is the first time I've been here in a long time and my objective wasn't to come argue with the likes of you. Your insults don't even hit because they aren't based in reality.I am 100% accurate.
Your football fan base is lame. That is why you are posting here and not on whatever board is out there for PU.
Thank you for demonstrating your basketball acumen. My response was directed toward this hilarious bit of cluelessness:
Yes, historically NW is such a crap program that what Collins did was a miracle.
Same with Nebraska - the single worst P5 hoops program in the country.
Get the net, dummy

when you look up "loser" in the dictionary, a photo of his disgusting gunt is the first thing you see
Purdue fan:Haven't been over here all season I don't think. Was headed over here to congratulate Hoiberg and this was at the top of the board.
I have no problem with Hoiberg getting the award, which he did. But like I said earlier, I don't see how Painter doesn't merit the award either season where Purdue won the conference by 3 games in back-to-back season. If it were me, I'd have voted for Painter last season and Hoiberg this season but since Northwestern has perpetual crap expectations and they get a ticker-tape parade and a BTN special everytime they make the NCAA tournament, Collins got it last year. I think Painter got more votes this year because of the cumulative effect of their performance over two years and the fact that Collins got the award last season.
He was the 430-something player in his recruiting class. Is part of coaching not developing players? Does the coach not get credit for that if a lowly-rated player does well in multiple seasons?
Ah. If it was your opinion, should have just said so. My opinion is the best places to watch high school basketball is anywhere in Indiana. College basketball is Duke, Purdue, or Kansas.reality
Three. I don't know much about basketball.I think I've demonstrated I understand basketball far more than at least 2 people in this thread.
