For anyone who hasn't figured out the problem yet

I think losing Singleton started to add up. That guy was all over the place at the start of the year.

So who do we lose on the defense?

Henrich
Newsome
Reimer
Brown
Who else?

Need some lb's. Do we really only have McGahee and an edge for commitments? Seems way too low. Our LB recruiting has been terrible the last 2 classes. That's going to catch up to us.
I'm sure there are plenty of LB's in the portal.

Your opinion is predicable and meaningless

You couldn’t get frost’s dick in your mouth fast enough

Stick to posting other people’s thoughts. It goes much better for you.

I don’t see a ton of difference between the two

If alvano was out there (ST coach is also a dipshit) we’d have actually run that play

Lol
I will say I’m glad he wasn’t out there because Iowa is to disciplined to think we’d kick it it would have failed miserably

Not excuses. Facts. Are you saying we wouldn't be sitting at 8 or 9 wins this year if our QB's hadn't pissed the close games away?
How is speculation a fact? What is a fact is Satt average offense was 95th prior to Nebraska. He finished this year within one standard deviation of his usual performance. This is what Satt offenses look like despite who the qb will be.

Let's face it. We have so many gaping holes on our roster, what are the odds we can find 1 or 2 good lbs? The 2 we got last year didn't exactly light it up. We need some numbers for hs players.

Young guys like Fields and Stenger will emerge. I'm really not too worried about our defense.

129 in turnover margin along with the 117 in total offense is the back breaker.
Par for course for Satt’s offenses..

His career:

2013 Temple: 88th PPG, 75th YPG, 90 turnovers per game

2014 Temple: 100th PPG, 120th YPG, 123rd TOPG

2015 Temple: 61st PPG, 96th YPG, 46th TOPG

2021 USC: 106th PPG, 110th YPG, 109th TOPG

2022 USC: 40th PPG, 72nd YPG, 123rd TOPG

2023 Nebraska: 116th PPG, 104th YPG, 132nd TOPG

Pay me 8 million a year and I'll at least look halfway competent with my clock management. What irritates me about Rhule is he isn't some guru OC or DC. He's a CEO who doesn't call plays. So he should be able to manage the clock like a professional.
Post of the weekend.

90 turnovers per game? That must have one hell of a game.

2014 Temple lost 19 TOs. 40th in the nation.

2015 Temple lost 21 TOs. 53rd in the nation.

2021 USC lost 15 TOs. 82nd in the nation.

2022 USC lost 13 TOs. 25th in the nation.

This is why I always laugh and cringe when people talk about Iowa and their good defense. They basically played one team with a decent record and got smoked. Everyone else in the west is just a nightmare on offense.

Think of it like running track. If everyone around you runs the 100 in 16 seconds and you run it in 15 seconds, you look great.

It is like all the coaches in the west got together and agreed to eat clock and shorten the game so that they could all "play close"

This will be trouble as our league now gets twice as hard. USC, UCLA, tOSU, Wisky, Iowa next year and that will be an “easy” schedule for this new league.
We need an offensive guru. Rhule seems like Frost when compared to some of the big time coaches I saw yesterday. That won’t bode well.

Rhule owes it to this defense to go all in on finding a competent QB. If Rhule roles Into next season with anyone in this current QB room as the expected starter that will be one of the more incompetent coaching decision in this programs history. And that’s saying something…..

🤣🤣.. you know he coached at South Carolina and not the Trojans, correct? South Carolina averaged like two turnovers per game. Had 22 fumbles last year (lost 13) and threw 14 picks

Wherever Satt goes .. the turnovers follow

Yes, I looked these stats on the NCAA website. Not sure where you got your stats.

Yeah sure you did..

It’s an example (there are many) of the decisions that lose close games

If we have timeouts at the end do we execute better? We’ll never know because we blew them idiotically (fake fg without kicker, challenge for an extra 1/2 yard AFTER committing 5yd penalty, can’t get play in on time)
Wasting your time arguing with Rosie. He wears a helmet when he leaves the house.

Who is the quarterback coach who showed regression in the position?
No but he tried a onside kick with a 11 point lead
The fake 60 yard field goal idea was worse even tho our kicker was so confused we had to burn a timeout to punt it. The idea was so dumb our kicker didn't think it was possible it would be called.

Dumb calls were definitely made but they had little bearing on the overall W-L of the season.

You guys focus on scratches and not the gushing open wounds.

You aren't serious people.

Maryland was definitely the best showing of the year. And even they laid an egg at the end of the game.

historically, yes, not a success
but Nebraska has been a very bad team for almost a decade
2019 - The second week of 2019 was the last time Nebraska was ranked in any poll (that I could find). Essentially 4 years being unranked.

Simply pathetic, but I suppose that's karma for a school foolish enough to fire not one, but two HCs who won 75% of their games (or close to it).

and all but 2 or 3 were committed by the offense.

"bbbbbut coaching"
Most coaches in America couldn't will their team to 31 TOs, other than Pelini.
You don’t think coaching had anything to do with it?

Its just a coincidence this is Satt’s 5th straight offense to lead its conference in turnovers?

Yeah, we were ranked starting the season in 2019.
Haven't ended the season ranked in a decade
