Florida is starting to worry me, despite all of the latest rumors of Frost to Nebraska. It looked for a while that they really were going to hire Chip Kelly. But Kelly is currently not coaching and Florida has no head coach. So it seems to me that if they really were going to hire him that a deal would have been worked out by now. It makes me doubt more and more that he is the guy they want. It really is starting to look like they must be after someone, as Spurrier said, who is currently coaching. Mullen? Frost?

UF's facilities are not on par with the majority of the SEC, they have plans in place but that's three years away.

Frost isn't going to snub UCF for Florida, not with momma calling him home.

Florida just had 1 coach fired and 2 coaches quit for crying out loud, I would expect they are in worse shape administratively than DONU in Frost's view...my SWAG opinion of course.

And we could match Florida monetarily speaking and we got the facilities advantage for now, we just back seat on recruiting in comparison to Florida.

If Frost chooses Florida over Nebraska then there is no way we would ever want him. As his years banging his head running the option are starting to show. Two of Florida's last three coaches have quit. They just started an upgrade on facilities that would help them reach our 2007 level of quality, by the year 2020, and they have to recruit against Florida State, Miami, Georgia, ALABAMA, and then beat those teams regularly or get fired. At Nu he is going to get 7 years to fix this thing, have a source of mentoring and support from the partakers in the greatest run of winning in college football history, and he has to out-recruit kansas, wisky, iowa, colorado, and missouri to get the regions best talent...and we can win with regional stars. I would actually feel worse if he stayed at UCF, than took the Florida job. And the former is more likely.

I think Charlie Strong is a very good coach, but Texas players didn't buy into his way of doing things. If he somehow gets the Florida job and gets those kids to get on board, and that might be difficult, he'd do quite well there as he proved at Louisville and now at South Florida. But his Texas results will probably keep him from getting the job.

Ya'll are really putting yourselves out there for a huge let down but I hope you're right about Frost to N. I just can't put as much energy as some into this madness. If we land Frost I'm ecstatic but I'm not going all the way in until it's a done deal.
