FIRST HALF GAME THREAD

Receiver lays out and with the speed of the game, it's impossible to avoid helmet to helmet.

Why don't we just play flag football? By the rule, I understand the call. But seriously, he led with his shoulder, didn't aim for the head. What else are you supposed to do in that situation? Not play defense?

you're supposed to let him catch the ball and then ask if he would like help running to the end zone. that's the state of cfb right now.

Blame Langs all you want...but our down fall today has been squarely on TA. He's been terrible.
it's both.. Langs shouldn't be calling that play, among others, and TA should not be playing QB either

too bad we didn't punt and get the ball at midfield right now.

Yes there was... don't lead with the crown.

Please, do tell, how one sprints toward an object/person to make a play and the head isn't the first thing to arrive. Gerry made a play on the ball. The WR went low and helmets incidentally collided. That's football. There was no malicious intent on Gerry's part.

Probably true but player safety rules are more important.

So you eject a kid for trying to make an honest play? It's a stupid rule. The word "targeting" its self implies intent. Gerry had no mal intent.

just dont understand why we were so afraid to use straight drop back passes until now. their clownshow secondary couldn't stop mitch leidner for god's sake.
