Nebraska is right back on the road to finish out this weekend's road trip in Indiana. The Huskers now face an Indiana Hoosier squad that may be the most improved team in the Big Ten. IU posted a 10-3 record in non-conference play which is the best in school history. Setter Camryn Haworth is one of the best setters in the nation and leads a Hoosier serving attack that ranks ninth in aces per set. In fact, Haworth leads the country with 36 aces while IU has four players who have recorded 10 or more aces.
Tonight's match is set for 6 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
Here's a more in-depth preview of Indiana:
The Huskers barely escaped a Friday night bout with No. 17 Purdue in West Lafayette. The Boilermaker duo of Eva Hudson and Chloe Chicoine gave the Nebraska D fits for much of the night, but it was the freshman phenom Harper Murray who came in clutch for NU as she hammered four kills in the last four Husker points to deliver Nebraska five-set win. Here's that recap from last night:
Assistant coach Jordan Larson isn't with the team this weekend, but she made her return to Lincoln after helping the U.S. National Team qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics Games. Here's my feature on The Governor.
Finally, the WWL from head coach John Cook:
