Yup. Dummies freaking out over recruiting before June always make me laugh. Why I had to bump this thread. Had completely forgot about it.

Who cares. What's our transfer portal ranking? That's a heck of a lot more important.
You may be right… we’ll find out soon enough. Deion brought in the number 1 portal class for the second year in a row. If what you say is true, I expect him to kill it next year.

It's not the most important, but you can argue it's certainly as important. Or should at least be included.

That said, those aren't really "final" yet since there are still a lot of portal moves happening. So, I can see why OP cherry picked the recruiting portion as it is final for this period.
It took a hit by losing our 4* starting QB to the portal…..😉
It’s one thing when’s it just an Iowa fan trashing our class. I’ll give actual Husker fans some grace for wringing their hands about our recruiting and on field play. It’s easy to criticize posters in hindsight. Not easy to predict future results. As far as recruiting goes, I feel really good about Rhule’s organization and effort. His ability to effectively communicate a vision to recruits is extremely valuable.
He’s rated as a low 3* transfer, below Spencer Petras and well outside the top 25 transfer QBs
It’s so strange how many posters clearly don’t understand and/or want to dismiss portal players. I mean, for as big a bunch of experts as this board has, you’d think they’d be a little caught up by now.

Would you prefer Colorado's 2024 transfer class over Ohio St HS class?
Ohio St hasn't taken a single transfer yet so Colorado's overall recruiting has to be much better, right?
Coastal’s QB who started last night looked tremendous. He’ll be back next year. Boise might be his best option. I think ISU has a young returning starter. I heard Arizona as a likely destination yesterday.
Arizona has a freshman QB that has thrown for over 2,500 yards this year.
Portal is the true measure of how good a player is. You can tell what other coaches think of a player by if they move up, down, or move to a lateral school.
Coastal has had a couple of damn fine QB's recently, which makes it all the more frustrating when I watch our QB play the last several years
They also have had better coaching before we hired Rhule. I said when we fired Bo we should have just promoted Beck. We would have never suffered 4 and 5 win seasons had we done that. The dual threat Vasko kid they have now has some wheels.
I love how you try to figure why people are mean to you and call you negative all the time.
This is the way for long term success and building the program. A transfer here and there to plug gaps. Otherwise stability is a huge benefit.
