Nebraska vs. Purdue in the first round of the Big Ten tournament in Bloomington will be delayed until 5:03 p.m. central (6:03 local time). They're expecting a heavy downpour.

The first several replies in this thread concern the weather delay. I updated it to a game thread at 4:50 p.m. CT.

It was dry during the whole delay, but they're getting warmed up here at Bart Kaufman Field in Bloomington, Indiana. The Big Ten regular season champion Nebraska Cornhuskers take on the eighth-seeded Purdue Boilermakers at 6:03 p.m. ET. (5:03 p.m. central time.)

Tonight's game will be broadcast by the one and only Kevin Kugler on BTN and can be heard by the Husker Sports Network crew on 1400/590 AM, Huskers.com, the official Huskers app, and the TuneIn app.

Earlier today, 3-seed Minnesota outlasted 6-seed and tournament host Indiana 5-4 in the first game of the day. In the afternoon game, 2-seed Michigan was stunned by 7-seed Northwestern after the Wildcats scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning.

Tonight's pitching matchup features a pair of usual Friday starters: Nebraska RHP Jake Hohensee (6-3, 4.01 ERA, 74.0 IP, 51 K) and Purdue RHP Tanner Andrews (8-4, 4.30 ERA, 83.2 IP, 57 K). In his last outing, Andrews helped Purdue build a 5-2 lead on Minnesota before play was suspended for weather.

Lineups:

Line score: (Line score - runs, hits, errors)

Purdue: 050 010 11 - 8 10 2
Nebraska: 402 230 04 -15 13 1
