Village Pie Maker, mixed berry, or anything from them! When my wife was a young farm girl from Keota Iowa, she was at a church social & picked up a piece of dark pie 🥧! Found out it was prune pie!! She still says to this day, " who makes prune pie"!!?? I laugh!
old, old time. dried plumbs are prunes. in the old days people dried their plumbs into prunes and stored them for later use. add water to dried prunes and you have your plumbs back and make a pie or a pudding with them. gave your familily a source of vitamin c and prevented scurvy over the winter months. you probably already knew that.Village Pie Maker, mixed berry, or anything from them!
