Huskers now 2.5 point favorite over Wisconsin

Hopefully he's a dawg and a leader that inspires teammates to play better. Cuz that's nice to see or at least I heard it can be. Haven't seen anyone like that around here since.... hell, someone help me out can you?
Well our soph threw for a bunch of yards and topped out his QB rating at 156.2

Im not sure the QB you are referring to has thrown for 200 at NEB. Think his QB rating was in the 30s last season. Even his senior year of HS he only threw for 1800.

These aren’t the same kind of kid. 😜

It's because most of their fans don't deserve the season they're having.
clint eastwood Deserve's got nothing to do with it. GIF

What makes you think he's wrong? Maybe their scheme gave our D more trouble than most. The only teams that scored more against us were Colorado and Michigan.
Obviously we know why this was posted. Fickell followed Matt Rhule’s footsteps, days after. Both teams are 5-5 but the guy will continue to exercise his dog-brain loyalty to those he has declared his love and hate for. Deion, HH, Fickell could all bang his wife and he would cheer them on from his kennel.

This is one of those times where I wish betting were legal in CA. I’d load up on Wisky so I could be a winner either way on Saturday
I may have considered that.

This isn’t a Wiscy 2 point favored type of game where you the Badgers could win 21-20 AND you lose your money.

This is a pretty good bet. $1000 on the Huskers. They lose and I get $1000 to drown my sorrows in. They win and it’s worth every penny.

They win by 1-2 points and it’s literally heaven on earth. Bowl game and a payout.

Having been at their game last week, they look like a team that will score 17-21 points. It’s a winnable game for us. We get 24 points and I think we win.

Nebraska has only won ONE game in November since the 2020 season (2020-present)
Other teams get better - Nebraska has not
Plus, we seem to have an abundant number of injuries by November. Not quite as bad this yr as in previous yrs.

We haven’t scored over 20 points since the Purdue game on September 28.

His first name starts with H. 🤡

One of these things that shouldn’t happen will happen in at least one of the final 2 games:

1. Opposing bad QB will pass for over 300 yards and at least 2 TDs.
2. Opposing bad QB will run for >30 yards in the game.

I will be back either way to gloat or admit I was wrong. You’re welcome.

good on you, Bill.

I was just teasing because I went to the CU-KSU game this year and was immediately labeled a buffs fan.

pretty convinced more than half the people on here don't watch college football, just the Huskers. and why there's so much confusion with our results week after week and year after year.
I forgot all about you losing your hat! Great story for years!

Surprised Ohio State is favored that high over Indiana

Absolutely shocked we’re favored

I have no clue what's going on with Wisky. But man you gotta have a set of cajones to bet on Nebraska right now and actually give someone some points...geez

Love the shit outta my boys but no way could I in sound mind bet on them. Just hoping like hell we get the win.

I’m with you. Would never bet on the Huskers!

But I would love to see them finally beat Wisconsin for the first time since 2011.

Would love to see them become Bowl Eligible for the first time since 2016.

Would love to see them play lights out on Senior Day!

Come on Boys put it all together and get a W!

This game is looking to be an intriguing chess match in a battle for a bowl game invite.

As disappointing as aspects of this season have been we still have an opportunity to finish 7-5 and go to a halfway decent bowl. I predicted a 6-6 season so I really have no room to whine... but I will anyway. 😂

this is a typical surface-level layman's post

the reality is the only thing these two moves have in common is the timing.

NGMR was allowed to bring his guys in to start his tenure here and has been forced to look outside the program after less than 2 years in hopes a totally new perspective cures what ails us.

Fickell was made to bring in a splashy OC upon his hiring as part of an overarching rebranding of Wisc football. To nobody's surprise, it hasn't worked (never does), and now he's turning to his own guys who were with him during his playoff run at Cincy to try and do things his own way.

we'll see which tact produces more on-field success.

Just speaking objectively this season Hill has been a net negative when he's been on the field. Had some good plays but mostly not getting it done. Not bagging on him, but that's what my eyes are telling me.

Saw this posted on another board.

Since the foot injury, Hill gave up 11 catches on 13 targets and three TDs. His only coverage wins since Northern Iowa were in the UCLA game.

I can't fault Rhule too much for who he brought in on the offensive side. He tried to get DH and Jake Peetz but got turned down. Was Satt the best he could get or was it a friend thing? No idea, but I sure as hell fault Rhule for not demoting Satt when it was clear that 20 points a game was his ceiling. That was clear before we fell to 5-5. Hell, Rhule should have taken over play calling at that point even if he didn't want to.

And here I'm going to fault TW. Too many of our coaches are bug-ass slow to see what's not working whether it's plays during a game or players not getting the job done. I hope Phil Snow can effect some change there.

I think we we either win the last 2 or drop the last 2. No in between. If we lose these games it's literally due to the fact we don't know how to win. Has nothing to do with roster talent. Been the same story really since 2016.
Exactly, both those teams are a mash unit while we are relatively healthy. Our only real hope though is that they are a little too one dimensional to give our defense fits.
