1. Willing to make tough choices
2. Seems to have us in the right direction recruiting wise
3. Still can't compete with the big boys
4. Has the program and players acting respectful with little internal drama
5. Academics still good
It's not really fair to rate his performance other than to assess the overall direction of the program until:
1. he gets his kind of QB running the show
2. he has some talent at DE who can rush the passer (good start with Stille, Miller, Guy, and Porcher)
3. he has an older and more mature team, especially on the OL and DL
4. Overall team speed is addressed (seems to be underway)
