Dylan Raiola hype train

Some of the things I REALLY like about DR:

He rolled out at times and was flushed out once, yet threw the ball well;

He doesn't mind just backpedalling and losing ground while buying time to give his receivers a chance get some separation, he obviously has the arm strength to throw it whereever he wants;

When he drops straight back with good protection, he is gonna be a problem for defenses;.

He used all areas of the field, the left and right hash marks, down the middle, and down both sidelines and threw several times from the right hash mark to a target on the left hash;

He was good on short, intermediate and long throws.

He put some mustard on the ball when he had to and showed great touch on other throws.

In this series of throws, he stayed in the pocket 10 times and used the whole field to throw into.

Some of the things I really liked: 1. He looked comfortable throwing the ball downfield. 2. He can place the ball on the money. First time we've seen those two things in a long time. Maybe the first time in combination since Zach Taylor.

Hype is unbelievable and I'd say out of control. I'm just impressed though that Dylan, for as young as he is, seems to handle the hype better than about 95% of the adults I've seen. And yes, I realize ironically that's actually hype in itself.

As Husker fans we should just be enjoying this. I can't ever remember a Husker QB being talked about before by an NFL Superbowl Champion QB. It's obviously a testament to Dylan's ability and work ethic but all of us Husker fans can also enjoy the attention he gets and be proud.
Damn good publicity for the school and Dylan. Recruits saying. Maybe I want to play with this Mahomes 2.0 guy.

It's their fault". Never mind that he's a freshman and he's going to face a couple of the stoutest defenses in college football going forward.

Mahommes is setting up Dylan for a spot in a State Farm commercial. I could totally see it.

Nice extra NIL opportunity for Dylan although I don't think he worries about NIL. He said before he let's all the NIL stuff be handled by his personal team which I would guess includes his parents and maybe his sister.

Dylan will be national if he keeps progressing how I think he will. He'll be in a Dr. Pepper commercial or stuff like that. He's quickly becoming the most recognizable CFB player. All that Mahomes similarity stuff is making him famous already.

Man that is awesome!

Pat and Dylan do a commercial together... 🤯🤯🤯

How sweet would it be if Mahomes and Kelce (Pfizer boy) came to a game?

Maybe the Illinois night game on a Friday?

30 or 40 minutes flight from Johnson County Executive Airport to LNK.

Somebody tell Rhule to make this happen!
Or schedule a game against Missouri or one of the Kansas schools in Arrowhead.

All 3 are good football teams, Missouri the best among them.
For sure. It would be fun, if Nebraska can continue to raise the level of their game, to take on one of those former big 8 foes in Arrowhead sometime down the road, especially would be cool to see DR slinging it around arrowhead like Mahomes.

Huskers are perhaps 2 years away from competing with, and having the personnel to beat the biggest dogs in college football. We all know the handful of pieces that have to fall i place for this to happen.

Oh yeah, they still have a lot of work to do. When it was mentioned having Mahomes visit for a game, I entered fantasy world and thought it would be equally interesting to see Raiola playing in Arrowhead, and if playing in Arrowhead, why not a former Big 8 foe. Again, just fantasy world, wasn't meant to be serious.
