Do bowls count when judging conference strength?

All I've said is that Big Ten teams can compete with SEC teams.

And I'm right about that. And you're wrong about that.

But yeah, opening day next season should be interesting.
congrats on another post season full of moral victories

I'm sure all the bros down at the ice fishin' hole can't wait to talk about how close the B1G was

maybe next year

Maybe you won't troll so hard if Nebraska can finally find a way to be competitive in the Big Ten. All these weekly stompings, year after year, is affecting your brain.

Baylor played Air Force in Fort Worth. (de facto HOME)
OSU played Wisconsin in Phoenix. (de facto NEUTRAL)
Kansas played Arkansas in Memphis. (de fact AWAY)
Texas Tech played Old Mississippi in Houston. (de facto HOME)
Oklahoma plays FSU in Orlando. (de facto AWAY)
Texas plays Washington in San Antonio. (de facto HOME)
K-State plays Alabama in New Orleans. (de facto NEUTRAL)
TCU plays Michigan in Phoenix. (de facto NEUTRAL)
The Sugar Bowl is definitely a Home game for Alabama. Just 4 hours away from Tuscaloosa

Major bowls have always had teams with home field advantages.

Orange- Miami or Florida St
Sugar- LSU
Cotton- the whorns
Rose- USC or UCLA

And you are 100% wrong. The SEC is 101-68-2 against the BIG all time and has a 62-34 edge in bowl games. The last decade the BIG held a winning percentage against the SEC was the 1970s. Continue living in dream land....

Telling the truth = trolling

Classic B1G fan comeback when they have nothing else to say

Hey maybe the #11 B1G team can compete with the #11 SEC team? That would prove EVERYTHING!!

Hahaha you f’ing pathetic loser

With the Illini losing the B1G will have only 3 teams ranked in the top 25 to end the season…

Penn St win would give the conference three teams in the top 10..

4-4.

Used to be we could judge conference strength by bowl record. With transfers and drop outs, I think this is no longer an accurate measure.
Not really. The SEC just gets really lucky in these bowl games despite always seeming to dominate bowl season. Zero talent in that conference.
