This is like back in our heyday when teams would often lose the next game after they played us because we beat them up so bad.

Love it!

They are beat up and demoralized for sure. Just like in the hay day. Hopefully we don't have a let down which has also happened. I love this TEAM. Just not sure how bought in to be. Voters aren't

They'll lose more than one more game this season. You can't field a good team with an entirely new OL no matter how good they are as individuals because they haven't played together before to gel.
Just like last year, it baffles me that CU never, ever gives the O-line any help. What is the point of sending 5 receivers out on every play when the QB won’t even have time to find one of them?

Would you play hard for a coach who spends 75% of his time making national commercials then allows his son, the supposed team leader, leave the bench w over 2 minutes left in the game?

Sanders loves speed and athleticism, but doesn’t realize that you can have some of the best skill players on the planet, but if you can’t block the line of scrimmage, it’s gonna be a tough road to hoe! Not sure he made any in roads with his OL when he removed his headset and debased them with cameras rolling……not the time, or place!

He truly does not appreciate their value and role in the offense. He oughta pay attention to how NFL teams take care of top lineman.

The big 12 teams don’t put fear into to many schools, Colorado might even make a bowl let’s hope not
Are they improved at all over last year? It’s more of the same. There doesn’t appear to be a lot of depth or development.

I get what you're saying, but lucky for them they play Colorado State next week. I think the Rams are just dog shit right now.

Questionable if they even win 1 more. They've been exposed.
They'll win enough in the B12 to make a bowl game. They'll beat Colorado State, Baylor, UCF, Cincinnati, and Kansas.

We will find out soon if Colorado is just that bad or Nebraska is just that good. NDSU went on to dominate a fellow FCS school, while UTEP lost their game Saturday in overtime. I think it’s safe to say they had a much tougher opening game, but after Saturday I don’t believe they’ll have much fight left.

I get the hate for CU, but why do you want them to lose? Id rather see them win all the rest of their games so we dont have to look back and say, we beat CU, but they were a 1-11 team.

Say what you will about the way we demolished them, but they had dudes out there popping us hard the entire game on the defensive side. They came to hit for sure. If they go out and lose the rest of their games, what does that say about our 2nd half performance?

Hate CU. Hope they lose them all. If we win the games we should it won't matter how they do.

It says Nebraska went conservative on offense in the second half.

Agree. It used to matter and it would help in poles and confidence. But now it is just a confidence booster and if we win, poles will have us high enough. I pretty much saw a lot of the same from CU as I did last year. I expect a bowl for them if the QB can stay healthy.

I just don't think Colorado's end of season record is going to mean anything as far as how good Nebraska is.
This. We are no longer in an era where the polls are as important. They are still important, but there's a big difference between ending the year in the top 4 and ending in the top 12.

I see where you are going should we be in the National Title conversation but this is premature. F the Buffs and their fans. Deion and his kids parading around like they won the National Title after the Husker game last season was enough for me to enjoy every L they take. Cars, watches, keeping receipts, purses, commercials, etc… I will enjoy every single embarrassing L they take this year.

UFC?

I am not sure at all about that.

Shithead is done and Shady is dinged after our game.

I just finally watched the game, and it truly was domination well beyond the score.

I will not prognosticate on our chances, but do think sCUm will be fortunate to leave Ft Collins with a win, and see them beating UFC very unlikely.

How can you put up big numbers for your son at QB if you're wasting plays running the ball?

no, I do, I had my 10/11 year old dreams crushed by Eric Bieniemy in 89 and 90. I wasnt super worried about beating CU this year. Now that its behind us, I really, really just want to finally put a beatdown on Wisconsin and Iowa.
Think Tim Robinson GIF by NETFLIX

They'll win 4 games again. CSU almost beat them last year. They get them at home and demoralized this year. Kansas is good and may stomp a mudhole in them. Cinci and Baylor are bad. UCF has one of the best rushing attacks in the country even though they haven't been tested yet this year. It's in Orlando at the end of the season. CU may have thrown the towel in by then.

But even if Deion insists on throwing on every down, why not keep a TE and RB in protection some of the time, so there's at least a chance of Shedeur finding a receiver?

Deion's only plan for addressing his non-existent pass protection seems to be to scream at the offensive linemen to block better. Good luck with that.

I'm tempted on this, but CSU looked really really bad against Texas. I know Texas is good, but their secondary looked lost and that is the one matchup CU will have on everyone. I think CU is messing up by not going to a more quick passing game and letting those receivers go try and make a play.
Hunter will have 200 yards against CSU. Probably 2 or more TD's.

No love lost in this rivalry

CSU safety hurt Hunter last year with a big (cheap) shot

Deion took a ton of shots at Norvell around the game last year, too

CSU have some talent - likely draft pick at WR and pretty good young QB

Stadium will be nothing close to what they saw last week, but it’ll be rowdy

Large majority of folks in northern CO (where I live) hate CU with a passion

Or lacerate his liver, whichever comes first.
CSU will try and be as Physical as Neb.
CU wins and covers if they have any stones at all. Folds up camp and goes through the motions the rest of the season if not. I'm not betting it.
