Colorado to Big 12 soon?

Big 12 cares about winning

BYU would be a boon, not a retractor for adding utah

The conference is losing two of the great rivalries in college football (red river shootout, bedlam). Having a chance to add the holy war - which has been reduced to sporadic after decades of annual play because of realignment - is intriguing to say the least

Not every league makes decisions based solely on media $$$
They might care about winning but they added a couple doormats from the Pac 12. I just think it will be interesting if Deion is gone in 3 years to see if they have the same passion for football.

Then they are idiots
I don’t know

The PGA Tour just made a huge decision based entirely on money and they’re being roundly panned for it

B1G got much richer by adding Rutgers/MD, but obviously made the league less competitive by doing so

If they lose to TCU, NU and CSU to open the season, it will be interesting to see if they still have the same passion after 3 games of the CP era.

I can see the Big 12 not adding Utah but it seems puzzling that they'd add Arizona instead of Arizona State (unless of course Arizona State has something else "cooking for themselves" and declined a Big 12 offer).
That something else Arizona State has cooking for themselves might be trying to get invited into the B1G.

Yep. Other than the money, Big 12 would be so much better than B1G. Would love this...

Central Florida and Cincinnati take the place of Kansas and Iowa State as the bottom feeders of the conference.
