A Big 12 Team Won the SEC, A Pac 12 Team Won the B1G

They played an SEC schedule.

Many SEC fans laughed at the notion a Big 12 team would come in and compete right away.

Same story with Oregon and the B1G.
SEC teams play 8 games and schedules vary.

I haven't heard anyone say this about Oregon or Texas. I think you make up ideas that you then like to knock down.

After 20 seconds of searching:

We can all thank TO for the foresight to get us out of that crap hole. It looks like a $100M/year move. I can't wait to see TexASS it handed to them every week in the SEC.

If Gabriel plays like this all year, the BIG defenses are going to tee off on him.

These opinions, of course, are everywhere

And certainty not “made up”

The first person was hoping, not stating a fact.
The second was saying that IF Gabriel played like that, the Big 10 defense would T off.

Any it still wouldn't matter either way. Rando comments

I find it telling. There are dozens and dozens of these opinions expressed here and millions the country over.

Lots of P2 hubris now face to face with reality.

I’ll play:

UCLA, USC, and Washington all finished under .500 in the Big Ten. Oklahoma finished 2-6 in the SEC.

It took a bone head play by Howard to escape a game at home to OSU.

If PSU and Georgia win this weekend, it’s pretty clear to me.

another Pac 12 team won the Big 12 and an AAC team won the ACC regular season

pretty interesting

perhaps the Pac 12 was the best P5 conference after all, and the "top 2" should stop pounding their chests about how difficult their leagues really are
No a big 12 team won the big 12 and an acc team won the acc..good lord

USC went 5-4 in the Pac 12 with the Heisman winner/#1 pick at QB last year

UCLA under .500

Throw wash out they had the most attrition perhaps in college football history

OU starting over on offense got bodied but also beat a probable SEC playoff team in Alabama

James Franklin in a big game? Even you iowegians know how that goes

It's all just theatre
No, I think people actually believed it. An opinion giddily expressed far and wide.

Look at the iowa fan white knighting for his beloved B1G in this thread

B1G fans can’t believe a soft Pac 12 team dog walked the big bad B1G in year 1
