This is just another negative consequence of NIL and the portal. These old school coaches are going to retire (Saban), take positions where they don't have to deal with like a HC does (Kelly) or go to the pros because the landscape is WAY more stable in the NFL right now (Harbaugh). Going to be a brain drain caused by this.
NCAA ain't going to fix this so the conferences need to get together and figure out how to shut down the wild west that this has become. It isn't good for ANYBODY.

Regarding UCLA, I believe they've accepted being a basketball school. No real support on the gridiron. No nil money, Chip doesn't like recruiting without the nil or portal stipulations. At Ohio State he can just coach .
Regarding posters reporting each other, the ignore button works better. Kong is a very negative poster. His act is saying the B1G sucks, over and over and over and...... He's an old man who yells for the old days. He then turns into a child when responding to dissenting views. But I disagree about banning people for being stupid. I'd be banned myself if that was the case.

UCLA is a crap job with crap fan support BUT it is a winning lotto ticket for someone...basically 30+ million once you sign your John Hancock.
Exactly...they're all lottery tickets now. Even Boston College, which I made fun of myself a few days ago when BOB was reported to he hired there....cept for BOB I'd think he'd have generational wealth already, he doesn't need that job...but for an up and comer, there are no bad D-1 jobs now due to the lotto ticket that goes with all of them

I've been on a couple of teams where a good, contributing member got kicked off because he was a PITA. Immediately everyone was worried, but in the end the team was fine and everyone that remained was happier. That's Kong.
