Could've still been the starting qb but apparently we HAD to bring in Sims

CT had a dynamic receiver to throw to also.We win this game if Casey Thompson was the QB
I can't imagine that Casey would have lost that QB battle. Casey is a much better throwing QB than what we saw today.Could've still been the starting qb but apparently we HAD to bring in Simms
Casey would’ve had nobody to throw toI can't imagine that Casey would have lost that QB battle. Casey is a much better throwing QB than what we saw today.
He did lose the QB battleI can't imagine that Casey would have lost that QB battle. Casey is a much better throwing QB than what we saw today.
I liked CT, but no.We win this game if Casey Thompson was the QB
I just can't imagine that. Sims looked as bad throwing the ball as McCaffrey. He did lose the QB battle
Sims was promised the job.I can't imagine that Casey would have lost that QB battle. Casey is a much better throwing QB than what we saw today.
No need to imagine it, he left.I just can't imagine that. Sims looked as bad throwing the ball as McCaffrey.
Sims completed a lot of passes.I just can't imagine that. Sims looked as bad throwing the ball as McCaffrey.
Exactly. This is easily the least talented, receiving corps in the big 10.Casey would’ve had nobody to throw to
Only because we refused to keep running the ball with Irvin. Irvin can run it better than SimsI liked CT, but no.
Sims's legs are what had us in the game in the first place, and I dont think CT would have been as dynamic in that facet. It seemed like our WR couldn't get any separation, so I'm not sure CT would have fared much better in the passing game. I don't think he would have thrown as many INTs though, to be fair.
11/19 1 TD - 3 intSims completed a lot of passes.
Probably not.We win this game if Casey Thompson was the QB
That’s the dilemma facing Rhule now: running ability good enough to keep the team in most games but passing is bad enough to give any game away.Sims's legs are what had us in the game in the first place,
Rhule prefers running backs who fumble and qb who can’t throwThat’s the dilemma facing Rhule now: running ability good enough to keep the team in most games but passing is bad enough to give any game away.
Pretty easy to see that opposing DCs will game plan and go all out to stuff the run and force Sims to throw the ball.
For the life of me, I don’t understand why Gabe Earvin did not get more rushes.
no, what I quoted is what the stat sheet says at ESPN for the game11+3 int=14/19
Yep...too bad they were to the other team.Sims completed a lot of passes.
He had 14 completions. 11 to the huskers. 3 to Minnesota.no, what I quoted is what the stat sheet says at ESPN for the game
since when do you count interceptions as completions? dude.He had 14 completions. 11 to the huskers. 3 to Minnesota.
he has no stats in the receiving section. We heard so much about Kemp.
Was he hurt? Did he even have 1 catch?
He completed the pass. He deserves some credit.since when do you count interceptions as completions? dude.
Yeah we would've won easily if he was hereCould've still been the starting qb but apparently we HAD to bring in Sims
And that one TD came on a trick play where he got lucky to even recover his own fumble on the backward pass. Those INTs were not good. No vision, not decision-making. The DBs knew exactly where he was going.11/19 1 TD - 3 int
Casey was pretty accurate considering how bad the OL was last year. Palmer isn't here but there were open receivers many times that Sims never saw. On that corner INT a TE was standing alone in the end zone. It was one of the worst throws I've ever seen in that situation. Throw it away and take the 3. Some of that was on Rhule I guess, but a seasoned QB should have zero difficulty in that situation.Yeah we would've won easily if he was here
He completely looked down his target in a 15 yard space to the left, didn't even bother checking to his right. A high school safety would of intercepted that.Casey was pretty accurate considering how bad the OL was last year. Palmer isn't here but there were open receivers many times that Sims never saw. At which position?Casey provided zero running threat, and Simms is an NFL guy. No brainer.
If you watched the game today, please explain who was an NFL QB.Casey provided zero running threat, and Simms is an NFL guy. No brainer.
We win this game if Casey Thompson was the QB
