Captains didn’t shake hands at coin toss?

hope Preacher Rhule hears this

I've supported Coach Rhule, but he's got to explain this. Who's idea was this? And who in the F among the coaches said, "Yeah, that's a great idea"?

Those Nebraska uniforms and those helmets mean something to a lot of people. Those kids are wearing our uniforms but they are not Huskers.

This ranks right up there with Callahan's classless "F'ing hillbillies" comment to Sooner fans. I also want to know where this no-handshake-BS originated from.

True, but this is worse because it was planned. And then apparently it's continued for the next two weeks? And it's being done by your supposed captains? Reflects badly on the athletic program.

It's really a Troy Dannon issue. He's the guy who should answer to this. Bottom line is if nothing is done about this then it is condoned.

Rob Z is right on.

Someone is pushing / accepting that (the coaching staff, the senior class whoever).

No wonder we get our nads handed to us on the regular.

That video is not the cause of -- but rather a visual symptom of -- the loser culture that has pervaded this program for years

This senior class has lost a metric shit ton of football games. If there was an actual leader anywhere in that class, that kind of stuff wouldn't be going on.

Terrible take in my opinion... Nebraska doesn't like Colorado either... And despite the "F Nebraska" chants the prior year and Shilo running around Memorial running his mouth, Nebraska players smiled, dapped him up pregame, then ran his ass over, sidelined him, and beat their asses down...

In fact, prior to Colorado, Dominic told Dylan -“I know the rivalry runs deep. You have to stay focused on the task at hand. You can’t get caught up in everything else. We just have to worry about playing football and doing our brand of football."

Evidently, when it came to Iowa, Nebraska was more worried about the crap they can't control...

Leave the drama at the door, play disciplined football, and beat them... Because in the end, Higgens did the same exact shit, mocking players with his hand out, and our coaches and players shook it with egg all over their faces...

This is a true statement. The type of team that thinks this is a good idea is the same type of team that folds under pressure. It's another sign of a losing culture within the program.

Like I said I don’t nessicarily agree, but I understand. The trash Iowa fans and players being appalled is laughable.

Yeah, I'll disagree with that. Carriker acts as if college athletics is akin to Housewives of Salt Lake City with their petty tit for tat crap that never ends. There's nothing that warrants not shaking hands at midfield before the game. And a pregame prayer should never be a part of the petty gamesmanship either.

Did the cops try to arrest them for not shaking hands? Get over it. Last time Nebraska played there and won, when it came time get the Heroes trophy there were Iowa fans pulling on it and spitting at the Nebraska players. Now those fans act all self righteous today?
That's not even close to being true. Grow up.
