Nowhere have I heard anything about the band...if the kicker blew kisses to the sideline he's returning that classy sportsmanship from the coin toss. Of course the incidents you claim don't seem to have much evidence besides he said she said. But the camera doesn't lie about the coin toss. If you provide something to back up the claims I will gladly eat some crow.

I really don’t care. It is what it is. Iowa is a trash fan base and they won, so they will act like trash. But maybe don’t try to get on your high horse when this is who you support.

I agree. I think it’s petty petty and wish they hadn’t done it, but no less petty than emasculating pink visitor locker rooms, protecting grass from a midfield prayer, blowing kisses to opposing coaches, changing the pregame schedules and having your band play in warmups, etc.
You can’t expect players to have all warm fuzzy handshake feelings as a stadium wide chorus of “F*ck Nebraska” breaks out while they walk to midfield. It’s stupid and I don’t condone playing Iowa’s game, but I understand it.
They do it because your a$$hat entitled players act like thugs on the field. Of course, you are going to get a reaction from players on the other side. Sorry, I know it hurts to hear, and you can deny all you want, but it’s 100% accurate and witnessed by me and entire groups of people. I know you don’t like to hear it, but that is a group that is within your fan base and painting the picture of what your program has become.
All I am saying is there are horrible fans in all fan bases, but your program has always said your fans are the classiest and best in the country. Most passionate…maybe…but debatable. Best? - absolutely not with that type of actions, and it’s just one example of many where the actions don’t represent class. It’s now infiltrated the program and team itself for the last number of years and shows up on the field documented at coin toss for everyone to see.

I get it. This is how Iowa fans act and how you see some fans in places like Wisconsin and PSU act, so you think it is normal and people will buy it if you claim Nebraska fans are doing it. I have not, which is a good thing. End of the day, this is a game people get worked up about played between two teams of 18-22 year old young men. I hope fans can keep continue to keep the passion and anger to a level that’s below life altering implications over a game.
