This is my favorite part of the Iowa/Nebraska rivalry. And Iowa fans are just as guilty of it - acting as if the people of the two states aren't carbon copies of one another. As if the Missouri river creates some sort of barrier that cultivates wildly different people on one side or the other.

I get that it's tongue in cheek for the most part, but some some people seem to genuinely believe it.

Bloom where you are planted is the tired cliche, but all places are good or bad largely upon perspective of individual.

I live where white people comprise 40% or less of population. Coming from Lincoln, then making my life here was quite an eye opening.
