there appears to be one if they can prove he lied to them. That said, this would get tied up in the courts for years if they went that route. The attorneys would make a fortune and eventually they would probably settle for a percentage of his guarantee. I can't imagine Watson wanting to take it to trial if he sued them.

The problem is he has only been fully healthy for parts of the last few seasons. Excellent pickup for the vikes.

Yeah, there are lots of ethical people who would opt out of a fully guaranteed 5-year deal for a quarter of a billion dollars. Or at least you would. I’ll try to think of someone else who would. Sadly, I’m not that ethical.
