Some of us never doubted his coaching. He has slowly, but steadily improved the OL.
We need to get more and better talent than we got during some of Austin’s tenure. Our O line numbers competing for jobs weren’t where they need to be when Raiola took over and he’s only had one class to address it. My only beef with Raiola is that he played at Wisconsin.
Need this last class of O linemen to grow up fast. There were gaping holes on our depth chart.
From the sounds of some decently credible people, it sounds like we have 3 studs getting ready to roll for us and will be showing up very soon in major ways.
Austin taught a totally different method than Raiola does. It fit with what Frost was doing at UCF.
By any metric, with the injuries in the OL, one would have to give in and say there has been improvement.
Someone did an all right job if we truly lead the Big 10 in rushing. Not sure who, but someone.

What's always been clear as long as I've been watching Husker football is that the OL always takes longer to develop as a unit than any other position on the team. I remember years when Milt's OL started off kind of rough for the first few games of the season and then were back up to his standards by the end of the season,

Raiola is coaching our line the way Rhule wants them coached. Putting someone else in that spot would change nothing.

Didn't Rhule say that our OL played it's best game of the season vs Maryland? Pretty sure that is what he said but I guess some of us on the board know better than the coach.
Maybe he wanted to take all his visits and weigh all his options. Enjoy the process and make a good decision. Better than guys committing early and decommitting later.

Frost couldn’t get experienced guys who wanted to jump on board his turd circling the toilet. Rhule likes his background, personality and work ethic. He’s getting it done recruiting and God knows we needed that.
