Big win!!! several thoughts....

Gives us 6 Quad 1 wins. As long as we don't completely melt down these last 5 games, we should make the Big Dance. We might only need 2 of the last 5.

The Bubble is pretty weak this year, especially when you look at the Quad 1 records for the other Bubble teams. BYU, Georgia, Wake, Vandy, Indiana only have 2 Quad 1 wins. UNC, Xavier, and VCU only have 1. Arkansas only has 3. SMU has zero.

I believe NO TEAM HAS EVER missed the tourney with 6 quad 1 wins.

Didn't get to watch but any time you get a road win in the Big, no matter how ugly, it's a good thing. Sounds like they showed some fit... let's keep winning and improving that resume.

Creighton did lose today, although dropping a game at St. John’s won’t hurt their standing much.

Especially if the committee noticed that Rick Pitino’s cousins were reffing the game.

There was a block call on Ashworth that might have been the worst call of the season.

Watched it live at MSG. Big East refs are as bad as B1G refs. So inconsistent on what they allow for contact. It shouldn’t be that hard.

Did Coach Hoiberg’s hand have a wrap/bandage on it during the first half - I noticed it in the 2nd. Was thinking he may have got a little more upset and broke something and cut his self??

He probably got upset and punched a wall out of frustration. Gotta love the coaching job he's done the last 2 years.

Wasn't there rumors Taylor Martinez broke his foot kicking something at half time his last year?

"“I’ll never learn,” Hoiberg said. “I’ve done this several times where I’ve hurt a foot or broke a toe one year. I’m on a blood thinner, and that’s the problem. I cut the hand on the whiteboard, and this thing will bleed for a long time.”

Exactly. Taylor Martinez broke a bone in his foot by kicking a locker. Missed several games because of that stupid bit of frustration.

Didn't Taylor get the foot injury during the infamous Texas A&M game where he called his Dad from the locker room?

Ok, two 'clipboard' stories....I coached girls hoops for about 20 years and TWICE accidentley broke clipboards ...one kind of thrown, one kind of dropped...was NOT normally a hothead...

The rumor was sometime his senior year, years after the freshman injuries. Freshman year TM gave some of the best qb performances in husker history.
