Big 10 and NCAA such a sham

Except Michigan has head to head victories over both participants in the Big Ten title game. So they may not fall behind either team in the rankings.

Are you insinuating that 2 cameras are going to break the bank? How about taking the camera that is currently NOT down the middle of the line and moving it there? We are not solving a complex problem.

The human aspect needs to be removed as far as possible from the game. From the polls to the way the game is played.

I don't know what all of the camera's actually cost but somewhere along the way there has to be a limit. You take the number of football games on a Saturday across the nation and multiple the extra angles and it has to add up. How many times have they shown multiple angles to a play and the evidence was still inconclusive and people argue it either way - guess the recent OSU/Michigan game is an example? With all of the technology available, it is a matter of time before it used in more ways than it is now. If two chips would have been mounted on each of the football and sensors were located at the line to gain, we would know if the ball made it to the line - or not. There is never going to be a perfect angle, perfect call by humans or even humans reading electronic data. How many times have officials disagreed on a call. The pictures that have been shared here of the play from above give a pretty good angle but still are not conclusive since we can't see the ball. In some of these crazy games there aren't enough fans in the stands to pay for anything much less multiple extra cameras at a game no one except the handful of fans involved.

You make a good point, but I don't see the committee picking Michigan over the conference champion… I just don't. We will see soon enough!

I don't think they will either but Ohio St winning that game makes it almost impossible to get 2 Big Ten teams in.

Washington destroying Wash St, Clemson playing well against S Carolina.

Alabama will beat Florida. They are in.
If Washington beats Colorado. They are in.
If Clemson beats Va Tech they are in.

So that leaves 1 spot. Ohio St or Wisconsin/ Penn St winner.

Wisconsin is getting credit for a home win against LSU and for playing Ohio St and Michigan close.

Penn St has a loss to Pittsburgh (Clemson does too) and blow out loss to Michigan and a victory over Ohio St

Now to make my point about Michigan -

If Colorado beats Washington and Penn St beats Wisconsin, Michigan will have double digit margins of victory over the Big Ten Champ, the PAC 12 champ an OT loss on the road to #2 and a loss at Iowa in a game where they lost their starting QB to injury.

I agree it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
