FSU has serious problems….should drop clear out of top 25 after 2 games.
I think the committee did that. Georgia just ran the corpse over with an 18 wheeler, doused it with gasoline, lit it on fire and then pissed on it for good measure.I think UGA stole their soul 😳
Weather, women, beach 30 mins away ....just off the top of my head.I would assume he will. Maybe not us, but not sure what the attraction is to FSU.
Or every team FSU plays is national championship worthyLast week I was thinking Ga Tech must be pretty good. Now it's changed to I wonder how bad FSU is.
Damn what's your setup? I just heard them say it.1985 Nebraska with some love.
Old school Spectrum cable.Damn what's your setup? I just heard them say it.
Yeah though it was like 260 yards rushing…..560 would be more like it1985 Nebraska with some love.
FSU opens the college season in Ireland losing to Ga Tech with the whole world watching, and tonight getting bounced by Boston College, again, as the only game that everyone is watching. Ouch.Or every team FSU plays is national championship worthy
He’s a damned good college coach.Didn't Big Chicken hire ole Bill Obrien as their HC?
That's probably helped them out a bit.
I was never a huge fan of trying to get BOB to NU, but maybe he will do OK at BC.
They might not make it in even with 112. Lol.
I had the fortunate opportunity to see Brian Baugartner (Kevin) and a few off the other Office actors speak at a comicon panel in Pittsburgh several years back. Came off as a really cool guy. And unlike Kevin very intelligent, lol.
Not Ukelele.
He sure as hell is. I know there might be some issues with him and I am glad we got Rhule and not Obrien. But as someone who lives in PA and had a front row seat to the total shit show that was PSU football after the Sandusky scandal, Paterno firing/death, and NCAA sanctions, what O'Brien did in keeping PSU competitive and not letting that program die was amazing. And very few folks out here blame him for bolting to the NFL after only a few seasons at PSU. Because he was very upfront from the beginning that if the NFL came a calling that he would most likely leave. Everybody knew he was a transitional caretaker coach from the get-go.He’s a damned good college coach.
A good CFB player isn't spending much time at the beach. Dozens of schools that meet the other requirement. And as far as weather, the humidity looked unbearable last night. Yuck.Weather, women, beach 30 mins away ....just off the top of my head.
History has shown that coaches moving from successful stints at the AAC and sub Power 5 level and move up to the big boy league all fail within a few years. And as for Florida State I think this only proves, once again, that it takes more than a roster full of 4 star athletes to make a successful team. Coaching really, really, really matters.
throw in Dan Hawkins as wellHistory has shown that coaches moving from successful stints at the AAC and sub Power 5 level and move up to the big boy league all fail within a few years.
Charlie Strong, Justin Fuentes, Scott Frost, MIke Norvell, Willie Taggert, Randy Edsell. When they crash, they completely crash and burn.
A few like Chris Pederson, Tom Herman, Luke Fickell and Geoff Collins did well, or at least haven't proven incapable of being good at this level. Matt Rhule can be considered in this group with his move from Temple to Baylor to the NFL and back to Nebraska. I'm sure there are other examples.
I mostly look at that first group which resulted in huge failures at the U of Texas, Nebraska, Oregon and Florida State as some pretty big jobs they were incapable of handling.

And I am sure he told BC the same thing. If the right NFL gig comes calling he will take it.He sure as hell is. I know there might be some issues with him and I am glad we got Rhule and not Obrien.
