Are the Lions cursed?

I’m enjoying every second of this. They obviously just need to get their tackles more involved on offense. 🤡

Crazy. The Lions have won ONE playoff game since the Ford family bought them in 1963. Before that they had 4 championships, 3 of them in the 50’s.

Fitting that the Commanders and Chiefs win right before the new Commander in Chief is inaugurated. Washington Commanders win with 45 before 45 is inaugurated again in Washington.

Yes. This is their team that should go to the SB but injuries on defense, they have no chance. Can't expect to score 40+ in the playoffs.
They had a lot of injuries, but the worst was to Hutchinson who was the #1 rated pass rusher on PFF before going down and then their top two or three corners went down-- including one at the start of the game. After that, the comment was made that the Lions would have to adjust their game plan. Ouch.

I feel bad that I didn't bet BIG on the Redskins. I saw the 49ers against the Lions and the Lions could not slow them down. At all. Then somehow the Lions shut down the Vikings and that threw me off. The Lions defense could not stop anybody at the end of the season except for the Vikings.

Also, Washington's mascot looks suspiciously like Pres. #45.

They had a clear path at home to their first SB. They lose to a rookie QB and a first year head coach with a new owner. Will they ever make a SB?

Injured defense. That Washington team is hard to defend when they are clicking regardless of how good you are on defense. Throw in a couple timely turnovers by Detroit and that banged up defense eventually their time was gonna run out. Daniel's could easily be on track to be a top 5 QB in this league.

When he uses his legs effectively they re virtually unstoppable. Wait till he gets another WR.

Lions lost a lot of guys and the Skins got healthy at the right time. Daniels played like a 5 year veteran and his legs were a HUGE difference in the game. The lack of a mobile QB is why I'm not optimistic that we're returning to the top of the B1G any time soon.

Gonna add fuel to the Rest vs Rust argument. The Commanders sure looked like a loose, confident team playing with house money. Detroit’s 5 turnovers may have been a by-product of a team having to take too many risks to cover for their decimated defense.

They also may have been pressing a little after last year’s debacle in the NFC Championship game.

A lottttt of American companies did. General Motors, IT&T, Eastman Kodak, Standard Oil, Singer, International Harvester, Gillette, Coca-Cola, Kraft, Westinghouse, and United Fruit just to name a few. Pfizer, Bayer were actual Nazi companies…lot of folks have no problem consuming their products.

General Motors had a manufacturing division in Germany as well. Were they traitors or pursuing capitalist opportunities? Ford opposed our entry in to WW1. Were they Nazi sympathizers or isolationists? You can find accounts to support either side of the argument you want to take. I'm not sure what value that carries over 80 years later in the discussion of NFL football.

Wars are mass production/profit mechanisms with a dash of population control, not much else.

Im amused by certain people today. They say they are going to stop buying Tesla, because Elon is a fascist. They want a Volkswagen EV now. They might want to study the history of VW and educate themselves.😒
