They had a clear path at home to their first SB. They lose to a rookie QB and a first year head coach with a new owner. Will they ever make a SB?

I know injuries were a killer for them but damn.Yes. This is their team that should go to the SB but injuries on defense, they have no chance. Can't expect to score 40+ in the playoffs.
I'm a Chargers fan, everything has to line up perfectly to have a chance for those franchises. Chiefs and Pats fans can have great teams for 20 years. Steelers fans etc.I know injuries were a killer for them but damn.
Same goes for conference champs at the college level.
They’ll make it when not expected toThey had a clear path at home to their first SB. They lose to a rookie QB and a first year head coach with a new owner. Will they ever make a SB?
I thought this was a bad match up for Detroit. Our bad Lions. If Baker didn’t fumble that football Tampa goes on to win and lions are playing LA insteadThey had a clear path at home to their first SB. They lose to a rookie QB and a first year head coach with a new owner. Will they ever make a SB?
Brutal. LolI thought this was a bad match up for Detroit. Our bad Lions. If Baker didn’t fumble that football Tampa goes on to win and lions are playing LA instead
Lions won 2 playoff games last year. Prior to that, this would have been true - 1 win, in 1991 since the 50’s.Crazy. The Lions have won ONE playoff game since the Ford family bought them in 1963. Before that they had 4 championships, 3 of them in the 50’s.
They had a lot of injuries, but the worst was to Hutchinson who was the #1 rated pass rusher on PFF before going down and then their top two or three corners went down-- including one at the start of the game. After that, the comment was made that the Lions would have to adjust their game plan. Ouch.Yes. This is their team that should go to the SB but injuries on defense, they have no chance. Also, Washington's mascot looks suspiciously like Pres. #45.Crazy. The Lions have won ONE playoff game since the Ford family bought them in 1963. Before that they had 4 championships, 3 of them in the 50’s.
Fitting that the Commanders and Chiefs win right before the new Commander in Chief is inaugurated. Washington Commanders win with 45 before 45 is inaugurated again in Washington.
No Vikings or Bills on that list?
You could make a case for both. I'm rooting for Buffalo to get their 1st SB win this year.No Vikings or Bills on that list?
The Bills and Vikings have at least been to 4 Super Bowls. Teams like Cleveland and Detroit might never go.Buffallo
Both the Bills and the Sabres

It’s part of the curse to get so close and still not get the championship. Plus the heartbreaking ways they lose in those moments make it seem more like a curseThe Bills and Vikings have at least been to 4 Super Bowls. Teams like Cleveland and Detroit might never go.
Lions lost a lot of guys and the Skins got healthy at the right time. Daniels played like a 5 year veteran and his legs were a HUGE difference in the game. The lack of a mobile QB is why I'm not optimistic that we're returning to the top of the B1G any time soon. They had a lot of injuries, but the worst was to Hutchinson who was the #1 rated pass rusher on PFF before going down and then their top two or three corners went down-- including one at the start of the game. I feel bad that I didn't bet BIG on the Redskins. I saw the 49ers against the Lions and the Lions could not slow them down. At all. Then somehow the Lions shut down the Vikings and that threw me off. The Lions defense could not stop anybody at the end of the season except for the Vikings.
Bills break the curse this year!! Let's go Buffalo!!It’s part of the curse to get so close and still not get the championship. Plus the heartbreaking ways they lose in those moments make it seem more like a curse
Ford family supported the Nazis in WW2. Screw that whole lot of cursed traitorsCrazy. The Lions have won ONE playoff game since the Ford family bought them in 1963. Before that they had 4 championships, 3 of them in the 50’s.

So did Walt Disney. I'm sure all of us in one way or another "support" Disney.Ford family supported the Nazis in WW2. Screw that whole lot of cursed traitors
A lottttt of American companies did. General Motors, IT&T, Eastman Kodak, Standard Oil, Singer, International Harvester, Gillette, Coca-Cola, Kraft, Westinghouse, and United Fruit just to name a few. Pfizer, Bayer were actual Nazi companies…lot of folks have no problem consuming their products.Ford family supported the Nazis in WW2. Screw that whole lot of cursed traitors
General Motors had a manufacturing division in Germany as well. Were they traitors or pursuing capitalist opportunities? Ford opposed our entry in to WW1. Were they Nazi sympathizers or isolationists? You can find accounts to support either side of the argument you want to take. I'm not sure what value that carries over 80 years later in the discussion of NFL football.Ford family supported the Nazis in WW2. Screw that whole lot of cursed traitors

Wars are mass production/profit mechanisms with a dash of population control, not much else.A lottttt of American companies did. Im amused by certain people today. They say they are going to stop buying Tesla, because Elon is a fascist. They want a Volkswagen EV now. They might want to study the history of VW and educate themselves.😒A lottttt of American companies did.
