For your information, Ajay is a great player. Other than CT, he is the one guy I hoped would remain at NU. He's the only difference maker NU had at RB.Did I say every player? No. Was I seriously implying the guy got hurt because he wasn’t prepared? No. Is it possible that he wasn’t prepared tho, I sure would say so if we base his level of commitment off the lackluster effort given in practice and the lack of accountability form the previous staff. Buy it mostly I was giving a comment to some idiot who thinks we are losing some great guy who couldn’t even practice hard and jumped ship when he didn’t get his way . Like 95% of these kids these days they weren’t raised to handle rejection.
While Allen was rehabbing back to health from the collarbone injury, Rhule was raving about Ervin.
I'm not dogging anybody here, but Ervin is a back who lacks vision, can't spot a small crease of a hole, and he's had injuries issues also. How long did he last in his first season before he succumbed to an injury? Not long.
I am of the belief, as most fans should be, if Ajay, for whatever reason, doesn't want to be at NU, I say he needs to go somewhere else. I've maintained that position for 50 years. We all want kids who want to be here. Some kids are contend to be backups to players who are inferior to them. Ajay is not that kid.
I hope he has a great career at Miami. I'm just glad he didn't wind up at another Big Ten school.
