He’s freaking miserable there. Hope it was worth it for him.

A&M will lose a bunch of games this year. ND might not have another challenge with their cupcake schedule. As much as I hate Noted Lame, I was so happy to see A&M lose last night. All that money and they still suck. Lol
Oh and BTW, hey Trev, never come back to Nebraska you loser. GBR
Alberts didn't hire Elko. So, if Elko fails, Alberts will get a chance to hire his own coach (if he hasn't moved on to something bigger by then).Maybe… but getting shit canned after 2-3 short seasons in aggieville is curious career path towards greater things. JMO

It's amazing that 2 outsiders like Rhule and Dannen are doing things the right way. The Husker way. All while Frost and Trev screwed the pooch in their time here.I’ll taken Dannen all day. Wasn’t thrilled at first but excited where we are.
I hate ND with a passion but they looked legit.A&M will lose a bunch of games this year. ND might not have another challenge with their cupcake schedule.

You make some strong points, but both can be true… he cleaned some messes up and left the place nicer than when he got here.I don’t get angst for Trev.
Either you hate the job he did and are mad or you liked what he did and you are mad he left.
Considering what he inherited from the previous AD and the improvements that have been made in facilities and hires, it’s hard to find a lot of fault. I don’t know any administrators who always got what they wanted but they kept moving forward.
Kong will come along and complain about volleyball and the reports that he didn’t embrace NIL.
Any AD they came here could not not have come into a better situation with the staff, coaches, facilities and finances. Trev cleaned up a lot of messes and had the department on good footing.
This from the outside looking in.
Godo points. But I think the animosity comes from the feeling of being jilted and stabbed in the back. He was one of us. A husker. He said this was his "dream job". He never gave any hint that he might bolt after only a few years. And the suddenness of his departure, without any real reasons being given, gave the impression that he is an opportunistic ladder climber who, in retrospect, was merely using us a a stepping stone to bigger things. And that is fine. But then don't bullshit us up front by playing the "Oh I am so Husker red and here to stay" card.I don’t get angst for Trev.

This is exactly the way I feel, a lot of people I know disliked TA before he even came here( butt hurt wrastlers mostly) I think he did a great job on getting rhule and staying the course with Fred. He canned Frost early mid season, couldn’t have been an easy task. People make their choices, live and let live.I don’t get angst for Trev.

Best move he made for NU was leaving when he didGodo points. But I think the animosity comes from the feeling of being jilted and stabbed in the back. He was one of us. A husker. He never left. He still owns the house and comes back every couple of weeks. As much as I hate Noted Lame, I was so happy to see A&M lose last night. All that money and they still suck. Lol

Any inside info to say this or just your impression? He’s freaking miserable there. Hope it was worth it for him.
Although I'm not sorry to see Trev go to A&M, I will give credit to Trev for hiring Rhule.
Rhule was the obvious hire for anyone with a functioning brain.Although I'm not sorry to see Trev go to A&M, I will give credit to Trev for hiring Rhule.
I think this is right. Plus, I don't think he treated people all that well when he made difficult decisions. Of course, whenever you have to make hard decisions people will get upset, but I don't know that he showed those people the dignity he could have. I also know that he didn't show the respect deserved to someone who was instrumental in his AD career.Godo points. He resides on an acreage in South Lincoln about 300 yards from a close family member. The last time I saw him was July, but he has been back numerous times. I am not sure why he hasn't sold the house. Very nice and personable guy.Any inside info to say this or just your impression?
Maybe BUT we sure didn't have a functioning brain for the last several previous coaching hires.Rhule was the obvious hire for anyone with a functioning brain.
